The Table shows the Chairs related factors through

patient perspective of selected patients in the Three (3)

accredited dialysis centers in Butuan City with an overall

mean of 2.70 indicating a description of “High”. These

shows that the current chair used during treatment are

somehow agreeable according to the patient’s perspective.


Questions are based on the set of criteria of a must

characteristic of an ergonomic chair studied by __________.

As shown on the table above, the most agreeable

characteristic of the current chair with the highest mean of

3.18 and verbal description of “High” was its durability. This

means that the current chair used could fully support the

weights of the patients during treatment. Durability is one of

the must characteristic of an ergo chair (or even an ordinary

chair) in supporting the weights of the user (______), and most

patient interviewed strongly agreed with it. Table 3 shows that

Seat Width has a mean of 2.88 with a verbal of “High”

satisfactory level to patients. This allows them to slightly

moved their body in changing body posture every time they wanted

to and considered as the 2nd most agreeable characteristic of the

current chair with a mean of 3.0 and verbal description of

“High". Slightly, since they’re not allowed to make bigger

movement to protect the stability of the apparatus attached to

their arms.
