    articles a – an & a lot of / lots of

    a – an = der unbestimmte Artikel im Englischen (dt. ein – eine)

     a: wenn das darauffolgende Wort mit einem Umlaut beginnt (z.B. I’ve got a banana)

     an: wenn das darauffolgende Wort mit einem Selbstlaut, a-e-i-o-u, beginnt (z.B. I‘ve got an apple)

    a lot of/lots of = für „viel/viele“ kannst du im Englischen diese beiden Formen verwenden

     We’ve got gnomes in a lot of different colours./We’ve got gnomes in lots of different colours.

     I’ve got a lot of books./I’ve got lots of books.
