Experience
N owadays, we live very
busy lives. Volunteering
for a certain cause is not
necessarily something that sits at
the top of our list of priorities, when
other demands such as work, family
or hobbies fill our personal lives. We
often fail to consider that donating
our time and knowledge through
volunteering, once embraced, is one of
the most fulfilling activities we can do.
Volunteering is one of those activities
in our life that we do because we
want to, not because we should.
Most importantly, volunteering is
an opportunity to give ourselves to
others through service, an activity that
is certain to give us more pleasure
than trouble.
Very recently, the city where I was
born and have lived for most of my
life, Mexico City, suffered a violent

The event was attended by more

professionals from various business

sectors (television and industry). The
finalists presented their cases in five-
