Amateur Paddlers Philippines or AmPPhi is a Manila-based dragon boat team under the
organizational umbrella of the Philippine Dragon Boat Federation (PDBF), the Philippines’ leading
authority in dragon boating. The team aims to spread the fun, excitement and healthy experience
that dragon boat paddling offers to sports enthusiasts or even just for curious hobbyists while also
providing a serious and rigorous training platform for more competitive athletes by providing
opportunities to train for and compete in local and international dragon boat races.

In pursuit of this objective, we regularly conduct dragon boat trainings and other team activities.
For 2018, we have exciting races and activities lined up. Among these are international races in
Indonesia (May), South Korean (October) and Guam, USA (November). Locally, we also look
forward to joining the provincial races and the usual quarterly legs of the annual Philippine Dragon
Boat Regatta in Manila. The team is also looking forward to conducting dragon boat clinics,
seminars, recruitment drives, fun climb and a sports fest. These events entail certain costs, which
cannot all be covered by membership dues of our team members.

By partnering with us as a sponsor or donor, your company will help support young, enthusiastic
and promising dragon boat athletes who exhibit the core values of teamwork, discipline,
camaraderie and social balance. In return, we offer your company marketing opportunities in our
local and international events. We also offer social media exposure in our Facebook account (more
than 5,000 likes and followers), Instagram, Twitter and website (4,500 hits). Chosen brand or logos
of major sponsors will also find their way on our team’s recently acquired boat and paddles. Please
