On certain MACK conventional trucks, the circuit breaker rating for the air dryer was
oversized. This is corrected by changing the circuit breaker, 25A, in position P20 (F44) to a
15A fuse, part number 25155052. A new label has been released as part number 21695501
that correctly shows “P20 F44-AIR DRY/DRAIN VALVE – 15A”. A copy of the new label can
be found below. Print and distribute it as needed.

Procedure
You must read and understand the precautions and guidelines in Service Information,
group 3, “General Safety Practices, Electrical” before performing this procedure. If you
are not properly trained and certified in this procedure, ask your supervisor for training
before you perform it.

1 Remove the 25A circuit breaker in position P20 of the electrical power distribution module
(EPDM) and replace it with a 15A fuse, part number 25155052.

2 Print and install the following new label in the EPDM cover.

This repair is covered by an authorized Service Program. Reimbursement is


obtained via the normal claim handling process.
