2. Coaches Report – Coach Singleton
a. Varsity and JV update
i. Summary of 2018 JV and Varsity Teams to be introduced – 39 players (23
varsity and 16 junior varsity)
ii. Overview of a Tough schedule for both teams this year. Tough schedule
to challenge the players and see if they step up to the challenge. Losses
likely to learn from and have teaching moments. Three teams on
schedule that got as far as we did last year. We made it to the second
round last year.
iii. Introduction of coaching staff – Pete Cramblet (3 x All American, played
at West Point, Lacrosse Hall of Fame), Vince Curasi (played and coached
at West Point), Keith Roberts and Larry Singleton faculty coaches.
iv. Green/White Scrimmage on the Turf: 2/1/18 @6pm
1. Parent volunteers needed for pre & post game duties
v. Team Trip to Mercer Univ. D1 game vs Lehigh U. on Saturday 2/10
vi. Team Motto for 2018: BETTER WAY! in practices, games, booster club
vii. Player Coach Communication – McIntosh Men’s Lacrosse expects them to
behave like young men and take responsibility. Can always come talk to
Coach Singleton and the other coaches. Play time is discussed between
players and coaches. Players can get support from the captains.
3. Budget Report – Joe Steiner
a. Reminder Dues: $600 for new players; $500 for returning players; + $100 deposit
that will not be cashed and returned at end of season banquet when uniform is
returned
i. These fees are due tonight at Meet the Chiefs
4. Fundraisers/Volunteers: Haley Hayes
a. Christmas Tree Pick up update – Went really well!!
b. Five guys and Willie Jewel Spirit Night - Need volunteer to coordinate
c. Concession stand Sign up – Eric and Julie Holifield - Please sign up for a slot.
d. Youth night: Friday 3/16 vs St.Pius X – Need volunteer to coordinate
e. Youth Lacrosse clinic for local players – Potential date – March 17th, 2018
f. Sponsorship Banner – We need each player to try and get at least 1 sponsor
($50, $100, or $150). Due 1st week of FEB.
i. Rebates from these sponsorships will be provided by end of FEB.
5. Team pictures Feb. 5th after school (Feb. 6th is the rain day)
a. Individuals and Sr. Banner pics will also be taken
6. Website Revision – www.MHSLACROSSE.weebly.com
 a. Up and running
b. Larry to update status/progress and Board will maintain and update
c. Parents and players can find schedules, rosters, etc.

7. Team Gear Ordering

a. Team got New Pinnies to match their Game Jersey number
b. Shooter Shirts with new logo will be handed out with uniforms
c. Sweatshirts and Sweatpants ($36 ea) are in for those that ordered. Can pick up
from Harold after meeting. Check made to “MHS Boys Lacrosse”
i. We can do another order – 2 weeks to get in
d. Boathouse Jackets are in – Checks should be made to “Harold Baro” ($94.50 with
name on, $89 no name)
e. Ladies can order a short sleeve $15 or long sleeve $22 bling Chiefs shirt. Donna
will place order.
8. Game Announcer for JV and/or Varsity Home games - can be different people based on
their schedule
9. Statistician and spotter needed for both Varsity and JV; Can sit in press box to view
games. Scott Montgomery is coordinating.
