Minot ND – Thursday, February 1st, Schaffner of Minot, declared his candidacy for GOP
nomination for United State Senate. Mr. Schaffner a former teacher and coach currently
works in the oil and gas industry.

“I am pleased and honored to announce my candidacy for the United States Senate. And,
I look forward to working with President Trump removing obstacles to the American
dream. Like me, President Trump is not a Rockefeller Republican, he is a streetfighter. As
a blue-collar conservative I look forward advancing policies, aiding ranchers, pipeline
operators, floor hands on drilling rigs, equipment operators, and so many other hard
working blue-collar professions.”
