The assessment for this 2nd task is done in 2 stages.

Stage 1 (score 50): To check whether scientific paper contains plagiarism or not. Make
scientific paper according to the following instruction and email to
unikom1@email.unikom.ac.id (Prodi: SI) ; unikom2@email.unikom.ac.id (Prodi: IK, IP, S.ING,
SJ); unikom3@email.unikom.ac.id (Prodi: AK, MN, AR, HI) to be checked whether your paper
contains plagiarism or not.
Stage 2 (score 50): The paper which does not contain plagiarism can be continued to task
upload.

MAKE SCIENTIFIC PAPER

As an Entrepreneur candidate who has learned how to build a business through this
lecture, you are required to create 8 – 10 pages or more of Scientific Paper.

You can choose one of the following themes:

Technical Department:
 Entrepreneur and Information Technology
 Building IT Based High School
 Building Online Store
 Designing website for improving brand image
 Using Internet as a Business Media
 IT Based Advertising
 Topic of paper according to your department (For example: Building a
house/energy-saving building)
Paper for technical department should describe about the technology side and related to
entrepreneurship. The technology/ technical material should be highlighted according to
your department.

Non-technical department:

 Become A Skilled Entrepreneur to Mobilize Resources
 Building Business Based on the Principles of Entrepreneurship
 Entrepreneur and Leadership

Paper for non-technical department should describe about non-technical /economic side
and related to entrepreneurship.

Please write a paper according to your interest or you can write a paper which is
contain a study case, for example comparing Lazada and your business dream or for
example comparing Lazada and Bukalapak

 Please use 80 % international references (English references) and 20 % Indonesian
reference. The best paper will be selected and submitted to the international
conference (INCITEST / ICOBEST) and the author will be published
internationally.

Preparing a paper for international publication:

1. The page size should be A4
2. Each page should have clear margins of 4 cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm
(bottom);
3. Pages should not contain page numbers; running heads or foot lines;
4. All articles must contain an abstract, abstract should be in 1 paragraph and not more than
250 words
5. The authors, in the form: family name (only the first letter capitalized) followed by
initials with no periods after the initials J Mucklow1 and A Jansson2

6. The text of your paper should be formatted as follows:

 11 point Times or Times New Roman.

 The text should be set to single line spacing.
 Paragraphs should be justified.

7. References to printed journal articles

References to printed journal articles should typically contain:
• the authors, in the form: family name (only the first letter capitalized) followed by
initials with no periods after the initials;
• the year of publication;
• the article title (optional) in lower case letters, except for an initial capital;
• the journal title (italic and abbreviated). Parts denoted by letters should be inserted after
the journal in Roman type;
• the volume number in bold type;
• the article number or the page numbers.

 THE STAGES TO EMAIL

1. The finished scientific paper must be emailed to be checked whether it contains

plagiarism or not. If it contains plagiarism, the task will be returned to you
automatically for correction. Correction time is only given 1 week and if it is not
finished then your 2nd task will be rated 0 or fail. Don’t do plagiarism!!!
2. The scientific paper which does not contain plagiarism will be scored 50. The rest 50
will be determined by your success to upload the task according to recommendation
by email.
3. Deadline of email: Saturday, January 20th, 2018
