The Word of the Day is kutay ["kU.taj] (in QUZ ) (See example 1).
(1) =kuta -y
=to.grind +Inf
’to grind’
In English it means to grind, it is spelled:
k-u-t-a-y.
Now let’s repeat it 3 times: kutay, kutay, kutay.

Now listen to it in context (See example 2):
(2) Achkha uchuta maranpi
=achkha =uchu -ta =maran -pi
=a lot of =chili -Acc =stone mortar to grind -Loc
kutasaq
=kuta -saq
=grind -1.Sg.Subj.Fut
’I will make a lot of ground pepper in the mortar.’
This sentence translated into English means ’I will make a lot of
ground pepper in the mortar’.
