WHAT DO WE DO?
We host European projects for vocational education trainees from all
Europe, taking care of

          1. Quality placements in different types of companies.

          2. Accomodation, transfers & local transport.

          3. Training and tutoring during the whole experience.

          4. Cultural Activities & Video Report

Our goal is to ensure that every student or group of students feel like
home and enjoy as much as they can their international internship
experience abroad.

We cooperate with a wide network of companies of different sectors in

Zaragoza, Huesca (Aragón) & Girona (Cataluña).

Nowadays MUNDUS coordinates several internship European projects

-most of them funded by Erasmus+ and PON programs- for students
(vocational training) who want to come to Spain.

WHERE?
-Zaragoza (Aragón, Spain): is the city where we host most of our
groups because it is the place where we have our main hosting
office and where we can find quality placements in all
professional sectors.

-Huesca Province (Aragón, Spain): especially for groups of

agriculture / winery studies.

-Girona Province (Catalonia, Spain): mainly for students of

tourism, hostelry or cuisine courses.

ZARAGOZA
Zaragoza is the capital of Aragón region and the 5th largest
Spanish city, just after Sevilla, with around 700,000 inhabitants. It
is crossed by the Ebro river (the largest river of Spain) and its main
monument and symbol is "La Basílica del Pilar", one of the most
well-known Spanish churches.

Why do we host projects in Zaragoza?

1. It is an Erasmus friendly city: each year hundreds of European

students and trainees choose Zaragoza to have an international
mobility experience in Europe.

2. It is a safe city with all services. It is large but not massive so it

has the best features of big cities but with a better quality of life,
It counts on different means of local transport (tram, bus, bikes)
to reach every point of the city.

3. It has the second largest old town in Spain with a wide variety
of cultural and leisure activities.

4. It is an enterprising city with many different types of companies

working both at national and international level.

5. It is well connected as it is in between Madrid and Barcelona (3

hours by bus from both cities).

LLORET DE MAR
Lloret de Mar is one of the most popular holiday resorts on the
"Costa Brava" in the province of Girona (north of Barcelona). With
a population of 40,000, Lloret de Mar attracts thousands of spring
and summer visitors to its beaches and leisure time activities.

Why do we host projects in Lloret de Mar?

1. It is an international city: each year thousand of visitors and

students come to Lloret to relax, to learn Spanish or to do an
internship.

2. It is a safe city with all services. It is not a big city but Lloret has
the best features of big cities but with a better quality of life, It is
a place where you can go walking almost everywhere you need to
go.

3. It is one of the most active cities of Catalonia with a wide

variety of cultural and leisure activities.

4. It is an enterprising city with different types of companies,

mostly services, working for the local population but also for the
international visitors.

SANTA COLOMA,
BARCELONA
Santa Coloma de Gramenet is one of the largest cities of
Catalonia (130.000 inhabitants). It is just 20 minutes far from the
very city center of Barcelona (metro L1) but it has its own personal
character. Santa Coloma is a multicultural city where the stress
and noise of the big city has no room.

Why do we host projects in Santa Coloma?

1. It is an multicultural city. Santa Coloma is a mix of the old and

the new style, the north and the south. Here is where Mundus was
founded and where we have one of our main offices.

2. It is a safe city with all services. It is not Barcelona but it has a

much better quality of life, It is a place where you can go walking
almost everywhere you need to go with supermarkets, bars, buses
and subway stations. And if you need something else, Barcelona
is just on the other side of the river.

3. It is an enterprising city with different types of companies,

mostly services. Moreover, it is well connected with Barcelona and
other cities of its metropolitan area. That is why many people who
work in Barcelona choose Santa Coloma as its city.

LODGING, TRANSFERS &
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES

According to the requirements of the school and the group, we offer

different types of accommodation. In Zaragoza, we always host our
groups of trainees in well-located hotels in the city center.

When it is needed, all the students receive a local transport card that
can be used either for work or for their free time.

Mundus also takes care of sending a transfer bus to collect all the group
when they arrive at the airport from their home country and when they
come back at the end of the project.

From Zaragoza, Huesca or Girona we use to organize a day visit or

weekend to Barcelona. Additionally and according to with the school´s
preferences we manage to offer other activities and excursions:

Barcelona:
-Guided tour by Mundus staff in Barcelona old town and harbour.
-Visit to Camp Nou, Sagrada Familia & Parc Guell.
-Entrance to PortAventura theme park.

Zaragoza:
-Visit to the Pyrenees (Jaca city): prehistoric caves and indoor ice-
skating.
-Guided tour (touristic bus) in Zaragoza and entrance to the
Aquarium.Kayak tour around Ebro river.
