State Bank of India, Maldives’ oldest and India’s largest Bank invites applications from
young, enthusiastic & hardworking Maldivian nationals for the post of an Assistant

Work Place Branches of State Bank of India in Maldives
Age Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.01.2017
Qualification Minimum GCE ‘A’ level with English & Maths subjects,
& Experience Preference to the candidates with higher qualification, experience in
banking/insurance/non-banking financial sector,
Additional Skills :
Fluency in written & spoken English
Proficiency in computer applications (MS-Office/Email/Internet)
Job Summary Handling all types of banking work, manning front-office counters,
handling customers.
Salary Basic MVR 8,500/- per month (approx. MVR 200,000/- p.a. on CTC basis
which includes other perks like Living Allowance, Medical Allowance,
Leave Fare Concession, Performance Bonus, Food Allowance, Ramadan
Bonus, Provident Fund/Pension etc.
Working Days 5 days a week working and leave entitlement as per Maldives
& Leave Employment Act.

Selection Written test & Interview.
Process Based on the academic qualification and experience candidates will be
