PRE-LESSON 1. Pupils share their feelings about coming to a new school.

PRE-LESSON ICE BREAKING ACTIVITY
1) Pupils are divided into 2 groups.
2) Pupils stand in a single file.
2) Each student takes a turn changing the verb “do” to another verb (e.g. eat, sing, play, )
to describe their feelings, things they do today etc
3) The part of speech maybe changed to nouns or adjectives
LESSON DEVELOPMENT : ACTIVITY 1: Individual / Pair/Group / Class ( 30 minutes)
Gist:
1.Pupils list down the requirements and rules for English lessons.
2. Pupils write down information about themselves on a card.
Detailed Task :
1. Pupils list down the requirements and rules for English lessons
2.Pupils are given cards.
** differentiation strategies 3. Pupils need to write their names in the middle of the cards.
4. In each corner of the card, pupils need to write the information assigned by the teacher
about themselves.
For example: Top left corner: number of brothers and sisters
Top right corner: favourite music group
Pupils exchange information written on the card with a partner. (Think Pair and Share)
2. Selected pupils share their partner’s information with the class.
3. Pupils submit the cards
