Nueva Vizcaya Goes to Alabang
[Dignitaries], to our activity and media partners, MSME
exhibitors, guests, spectators and sponsors, a wonderful day to
all of us.
My dear friends, Nueva Vizcaya is so close to my heart, serving
as Provincial Director of the DTI for more than 5 years. I
personally know some exhibitors around but I am so glad to
see new MSMEs who are now joining the circle of Nueva
Vizcaya’s best. As then Provincial Director, I am a witness of
the province’s milestones in multi-sectoral endeavors and it is
because when Vizcayanos are into something, they are very
serious about it. Most of the clients we have in Vizcaya never
stop exploring new ways to improve their products so they
could be distinct from the rest. Every Vizcayano sustainably
takes advantage of the abundance of resources in the province.
Those are the factors why Vizcaya remains very progressive,
on top of the strong support from the Provincial Government
and other agencies. MSMEs are pro-active and have
developed mechanisms of cooperation among themselves. The
proudly Vizcayano products of the province are the most
tangible evidence of continuous innovation and evolution
among MSMEs. Their produce, delicacies and crafts, have
gained popularity because of their uniqueness and undeniable
quality that meet the expectations of the consumers.
The level of confidence of the MSMEs, together with DTI and
the PLGU, is the main driving factor of bringing out these
products from the comforts of the province. Mindful that there
are lots of competitors in the markets, the MSMEs and their
enablers in the province draw courage on the positive
feedbacks from previous trade fairs. In fact, inspired with their
successes in the past, this year’s Nueva Vizcaya Goes to
Alabang Fair, the 14th since its inception, is now exclusive for
the MSMEs of Nueva Vizcaya. Our MSMEs deserve a round of
applause for their strong determination and their sincerity to
make all things worthwhile.
This Trade Fair serves as a platform to expand customer reach
and create market niches for Nueva Vizcaya products. This is a
challenge to all of us as we are faced with tougher competitions
in this era of borderless trade. Full promotion of Vizcaya
products will heighten consumer awareness and preference.
We want the people in the urban areas to know that in the
mountains of Nueva Vizcaya lie a seat of competitive products
ready to take the challenge of economic integration.
We applaud the organizers of this activity, the Provincial
Government of Nueva Vizcaya under the leadership of
Governor Padilla and the DTI-Nueva Vizcaya led by PD Henry
Conel Jr. The continued support to our MSMEs is driving a long
way towards social and economic progression. Our
investments to them are the best investments and legacy for
the present and the next generations.
To the hosts, thank you for accepting Nueva Vizcaya in this
wonderful place and we hope to strengthen our partnership with
you not only with the Province but with the whole Cagayan
Valley.
