It is with great honor and pleasure that I recommend the man Mike Vilardi and his book The Time of His Coming. For the last two thousand years, the topic of the last days and the return of the Messiah has been one of controversy and debate among theologians worldwide. While no one knows the time of the second coming of Jesus Christ to a place called planet Earth, except the Father of Creation, we all look toward the moment with great expectation.
The Bible declares that no ear has heard nor eye has seen the things that God has in store for the believer. It goes on to make clear that the door to understanding these great mysteries of heaven’s promises comes through the open door of revelation by the Holy Spirit of God. True revelation from God is released through an individual out of godly integrity and character.
I have known Mike Vilardi personally as friend and partner in Kingdom Business for a number of years, and I know him to be a person of utmost integrity and character. That tells me that the revelation that God has given him concerning the last days can be trusted and gleaned from as coming straight from heaven. As you read this book, allow the Spirit of God to reveal the revelation off these pages and impart to you, the reader, a life-changing encounter.
INTRODUCTION
I am writing this book as fiction because so many people that have written about Bible prophecy have been wrong. Without fail, every person that has written a book on this subject and has picked a day or hour has missed the mark. A whole lot of mistakes in this area have been made.
As a result, I have decided to write about what I think will happen in these end times but do it with the understanding that what I am writing is simply my opinion and that I can be wrong.
Who am I to think that I am the only person that truly knows everything that God will do? Therefore, I must humble myself and leave open the possibility that some of what you read might never happen, or might happen in a different way than the way I present it in this book.
I hope you enjoy the book and gain a better understanding of what the Bible predicts for the future.

CHAPTER 1
The Importance of Salvation
You might be wondering why I would start a book about Bible prophecy (and the timing of Christ’s Second Coming) with the importance of salvation. The reason is simple—your salvation, or lack thereof, will determine where you spend eternity. I want to do everything I can to help bring people to know the mercy and grace of God. It is his will for all to be saved and none to perish. However, it is your choice. God has already done his part. Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day. The rest is up to you.
Psalm 53
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good. ²God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. ³Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
If this is true, then how can one become right with God?? The Bible gives us the answer in John 3:1-21.
There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: ²The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. ³Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. ⁴Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? ⁵Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. ⁶That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. ⁷Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. ⁸The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. ⁹Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? ¹⁰Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things? ¹¹Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. ¹²If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? ¹³And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. ¹⁴And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: ¹⁵That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
¹⁶For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ¹⁷For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. ¹⁸He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ¹⁹And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. ²⁰For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. ²¹But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
There are three things that Jesus tells us in this scripture:
1. A man must be born again.
2. Jesus was going to have to die.
3. God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever, believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
God loves you and me so much that he sent his only son Jesus to die on the cross and then raised him from the dead. Through Christ’s death, God offers you forgiveness for your sins; and through his resurrection, the promise of everlasting life. Christ died for the entire world, but whether or not we accept what he did is up to us. God gave us free will to accept or reject the sacrifice of his son, Jesus. Paul the apostle talks about salvation in the book of Romans. It is one of my favorite books in the entire Bible, and I encourage you to read it. I will sum up the five main points here:
1. Man is sinful. Romans 3:23 says this:
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.
2. Sin has a penalty. Romans 6:23 says this:
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
To continue in sin will result in spiritual death, which is separation from God forever. The alternative is to personally receive God’s free gift, which is pardon for sin and provision of life everlasting.
3. Christ paid the penalty, Romans 5:8 tells us,
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
4. Salvation is a free gift. Ephesians 2:8 says,
⁸For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ⁹Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Grace means undeserved favor. God graciously offers you what you could never do for yourself. God’s gift to you is FREE! You do not and cannot work for a gift. All you need to do is receive it. Believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for you to provide deliverance from your sins and to give you eternal life.
5. We must receive Christ. John 1:12 tells us,
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name.
When you receive Christ—when you accept what he has done for you—you become a child of God. Picture this if you will: Jesus Christ standing at the door of your life. Invite him in. He is waiting to be received into your life. I urge you to receive Christ now by praying this prayer.
Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner and that I need your forgiveness. I believe that Christ died in my place to pay the penalty for my sin and that he rose from the dead. I now invite Jesus Christ to come into my life as my savior. Thank you for making me your child. Help me learn to please you in every part of my life.
Remember God’s promise, which is found in Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Chapter Summary
God wants a relationship with people, not religion. The only people that Jesus criticized during his time on earth were the religious Pharisees and Sadducees. The reason was simple—they were more concerned about their religion then they were about their God. To prove this, God has sent us his Holy Spirit, also known as the comforter. John 16:7-15 says this.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. ⁸And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: ⁹Of sin, because they believe not on me; ¹⁰Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; ¹¹Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
¹²I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. ¹³Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. ¹⁴He shall glorify¹ me: for he shall receive
