What is Click-to-Run?
• Deployment technology that “allows users to begin using the applications
almost instantaneously while files are streamed in the background.”
(Wikipedia: The Free Encyclopedia, 2017)
• An alternative to MSI installation
• Default installation mechanism for Office 365

Excel Link support for Click-to-Run :

• With 10.3.1 supporting only Office 2016
• Version 1708 build 8431.2094 or higher - a fix from Microsoft
• Alternatively (when IT doesn’t push he upgrades)
RP1 introduced a new local preference setting – technote will be available on release
(Downside: Will change the behavior on how we interact with excel processes)

Several bug fixes including

• Excel link formulas not properly working when embedded in an IF ELSE statement (Reported on 10.2.1)
• Some Excel functions were case-sensitive (reported 10.2.1)
• FPutValue for a summation account is not working correctly (reported on 10.3 FP1)
