“Hi! My name’s Jose Felix, I’m 38 years old and I’m from Lima in Peru but now
I live in Cusco, I’m a fan of music, I like rock music but I don’t like salsa music.
I love sports, especially football, but I don’t play it. One of my favorite things is
my laptop, it isn’t new but it works. This is because it has lots of memories
(photos), documents, music and things with which I work.
My birthday is on 16° June. I celebrate it with friends and family, and I feel
happy to be with all of them. We celebrate all of birthdays with family and
friends, it is important for us.
I work more than 8 hours a day, my colleagues are tired of that, but we
enjoyed our work even if we are tired.

1. Are there scissors on the desk? Yes, there are.

2. Do you have a pencil case? Yes, I do. I have one.
3. Is there a black bag? No, there isn’t. There is a green bag.
4. Is sharpener metal or plastic? It is metal.
5. How many drawers do you have in your desk? I have 4 drawers.
6. Is your board big? No it isn’t. It is small.
7. Do you have a trash bin? Yes, I do.
8. Does your teacher use rulers in class? Yes, she does.
9. Is the glue tube full? Yes, it is.
10. Do you take notebooks in your bag? Yes, I do. I usually take three or
four.

There are 12 photos and in each an of them us show various places, 4 of them
us show views panoramic of centers commercial, in the first image there is 5
people stepped in a second level, and is sees that is of day by that the light is
natural; in the second image is seen a Center commercial of 3 levels and is of
night because the light is artificial. In the third image we can see an arrow that
indicates where the food is, this arrow is blue, I don't see many people there.
The fourth picture is about a clothing store for men and women, I can see
some t-shirts, a dress in golden color and some boxes next to dress. The fifth
photo is about a mall that looks very interesting, by lights and department
stores and also prices is very cheap. In the sixth picture there are two women
buying some fruit and vegetables, I can see some apples, pineapples, oranges
and peppers. The seventh picture is a shoe store for women, I see some nice
boots, especially red. The eighth photo is on a Bank, is the Bank of credit, can
see three vehicles in the site of parking and some people inside the Bank,
and there is a police officer next to the input main. In the ninth picture, there is
a small family enjoying a meal (father, mother and son), this waitress next to it
to receive your order, they are happy. The tenth photo it's a pharmacy that is
well known in our country and says that is open 24 hours a day. The photo
eleventh is on a kiosk, a man is who performs them sales and there is a lady
in front of the, using a t-shirt red and a short grey. The last picture is of a music
store; this store is great, has its own parking and is a sunny day.

IV. MAKE A DESCRIPTION ABOUT OF YOU AND YOUR BEST FRIEND

USING THE MODAL CAN AND CAN´T (AT LEAST TEN LINES)

My best friend can’t run so fast because he has a wound on his knee, so I can
run faster than him, I can’t paint like him he is a really good painter and drawer
he can draw almost everything. I like eating good food, that’s why I can cook
very well my friend can’t cook so I sometimes prepare food for both of us; he
really likes the food I prepare. My favorite hobby is singing, I go to karaoke
when I can, my friend comes with me but he can’t sing he just listens to me
and other people, he has a lot of fun. I can drive small and big cars like trucks,
I love driving, when I travel, but not in the city because the traffic, I feel relaxed
and I enjoy the landscape, I’m teaching my friend to drive, He can’t, I think he
is learning so fast. In my free time I sometimes help blind people; I can read
braille so I help them to learn to read.

YOU SEE
Today I have a job interview at 10:00 a.m. so have to be on time to be
considered, punctuality is really important. I hope the interview will be not too
long. The interview is with the head personal manager, I think he is a kind
person, he has a nice group of professionals with him, I trust myself to become
part of this group.
