RESOLUTION

AUTHORIZING THE MUNICIPAL MAYOR, HON. AMBROSIO C. CRUZ, JR., TO PURCHASE

THREE (3) UNITS OF VEHICLE UTILIZING THE PERFORMANCE CHALLENGE FUND (PCF)
AWARDED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT (DILG) TO THE
MUNICIPALITY OF GUIGUINTO

WHEREAS, the Local Government Unit of Guiguinto, Bulacan, has been

conferred with the Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG) being implemented
by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), recognizing the
LGUs exemplary performance in the governance area of Financial
Administration, Social Protection, Disaster Preparedness, Environmental
Management, Business Friendly and Competitiveness, and Peace and Order;

WHEREAS, the local government of Guiguinto, Bulacan as a SGLG

awardee, is entitled to access and receive the Performance Challenge Fund
amounting to Three Million (P3,000,000.00);

WHEREAS, DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2016-153, dated October 28,

2016 requires the creation of an LGU-PCF Project Implementation and
Management Team to facilitate project implementation and monitoring;

WHEREAS, the PCF shall be utilized for the purchase of three (3)
units of vehicle as enlisted: 1 unit of 2017 Toyota Commuter Manual
Transmission amounting to P1,645,200.00, 1 unit 2017 Toyota Innova J DSL
Manual Transmission amounting to P1,074,200.00, and Mitsubishi L300 Exceed
CC with FB Body (Dual AC) amounting to P781,000.00; with an aggregate
amount of P3,500,400.00, of which P500,400.00 shall be the counter-part of
the Municipal Government of Guiguinto;

WHEREAS, it is the duty and function of the Sangguniang Bayan to

give authorization to the Municipal Mayor to enter into contracts and
agreements that will benefit the municipality, pursuant to Article III,
Section 447 of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local Government Code of
1991;

NOW THEREFORE:

On motion of Coun. Cezar L. Mendoza and duly seconded by all members

present;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize the Municipal Mayor,

Hon. Ambrosio C. Cruz, Jr. to purchase three (3) units of vehicle utilizing
the performance challenge fund (PCF) awarded by the Department of Interior
and Local Government (DILG) to the Municipality of Guiguinto.
