1. Introduction:
This system is developed in favor of the hostel management
which helps them to save the records of the students about their
rooms and other things. It helps them from the manual work from
which it is very difficult to find the record of the students and the
room details of the students, and the information of about the those
ones who had left the hostel three years before.
We design this system on the request of the hostel management,
through this they cannot require so efficient person to handle and
calculate the things. This system store record of student, room
allotment, room detail, generate the student record for those students
who are registered in hostel.

1.1. Purpose:
The hostel management system is towards maintaining all the
hostel records of the students.
The System includes:
1.1) Providing student information.
1.2) Providing report of student.
1.3) Store record of all student.
1.4) Room allotment.
1.5) Admin panel. (E.g. Add College UG or PG, Student hostel
permission etc.)
1.6) Admin can edit the details of the students & modify the student
records.
1.7) Admin can allow to the student or not allow.
1.8) Notice Board.

1.2. Scope:
It is easy to extend the system that we have proposed. A
person could see any of the student information and all the rooms
detail according to his/her issue bad, locker, chair etc. In future we
can implement some features for HOSTEL MANAGEMENT
SYSTEM project.
1.3. Technologies to be used project requirement
This project will be developed in having Asp.net, MS SQL as
backend.

1.4. Overview
Project is related to hostel record management, main facilities
available in this project are:
1.4.1.Room allotment of student.
1.4.2. Maintaining records student who have left hostel from
last year.
1.4.3. Providing different facilities to user.
1.4.4. Registration.
1.4.5. Allot different students to the different hostels.
1.4.6. Room detail or interiors.
2. User Panel:
2.1. User Login:
This section provides an online registration form to the
students base on entered email system send activation email to
user after they can login in to the Hostel Management System.
2.2. Home:
2.2.1. This section consist of the different details of the different
hostels and photo gallery.
2.2.2. It contain a hostel name.
2.2.3. It allows the different users to access the registration forms.
2.2.4. He can view the Student administration division of the
different hostels and also view the notice boards.
2.3. Registration Form:
This section provides an online form to the students which
can be filled by them, and send request to the admin or rector of
hostel and rector can give permission to the user or student. They
get the confirmation text message sending by the system. Than
student can login and get the room allotment page of selected
hostel them before allotting them to the respective hostels.

2.4. Notice Board:
All the hostels have their Notice boards. Any change in the
hostel fee, hostel rules, and exam time table notification will be
shown in this. It can be also used for different hostel notifications.
3. AdminPanel:
3.1. Administrator Login:
The Administrator can:
3.1.1. Login Request:
Whenever student will registered to the HMS at that
time login request send to the admin or rector of the hostel.
They verify the data of student then send the confirmation text
message to the user or student. The message have containing
name, username, and password after than student will login to
the HMS, AAU.
3.1.2. Room Allotment Request:
If Student successfully login than fill up the
room allotment form and send to the admin or rector. After than
they will allot the vacant room to the student and send text
message to the student.
3.1.3. Student Information Update:
Admin or rector modify the record of the student
like room number, room interior data, permission etc.
3.1.4. Show Student Details:
Admin or rector show the record of the student
semester wise, room wise etc.

3.2. Allotment of the hostels:
There will be pre-defined criterias for the admission to the
hostels. He checks the attested application forms of the students
obtained from the internet and verify it with the student database.
If the students are found eligible then they are allotted to the
hostel.
3.3. Vacating the rooms:
As the students course is over they will vacate their
rooms. So it is required for the administrator to remove their
records from the database tables. This section includes the option
for the room vacation and the deletion of the particular record
from the database.

Hostel Management System is a Customize and user-
friendly software for Hostel. It has been designed to automate,
manage and look after the over-all processing of even very large
hostel. It is capable of managing Enquiry details, Student
Details, Payment Details etc. Hostel Management System is a
Customize and user-friendly software for Hostel which provide
hostel information, hostel room information, and hostel accounts
information.
Hostel Management Software Systemis offering a
maximum of stability, cost-effectiveness and usability. It
provides the most flexible and adaptable standards management
system software solutions for hostel.
