Ladies and Gentlemen... Good Afternoon. Welcome to Naisud National High School Intramurals 2017

Part 1. OPENING PARADE

Approaching the covered court are the following:

A. First in line is the: NAISUD NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL BANNER AND PHILIPPINE FLAG

B. Naisud National High Schools very own and esteemed athletes in their respective fields:

1. Jasper Montesa Gold Medallist in WUSHU during the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Meet
Association 2017
- An athlete during the Palarong Pambansa 2017 held at San Jose, Antique
2. Jamela Rimpos Gold Medalist in Arnis during WVRAA 2017
- Shes also part of Palarong Pambansa 2017 held at San Jose, Antique.
3. Rosalyn Penticase Basketall Girls Bronze Medallist during the Western Visayas Regional Athletic
Meet Association 2017 and also a Bronze Medallist during the Palarong Pambansa 2017 held at San
Jose, Antique.
4. Adjel Tayco - Silver Medallist in Sepak Takraw during the Western Visayas Regional Athletic Meet
Association 2017
5. John Rex M. Amacio Wushu Silver Medalist during the 2017 Western Visayas Regional Athletic Meet
Association
6. John Rey Zapatos Silver Medallist in Boxing during the 2017 Western Visayas Regional Athletic

II. PROGRAM PROPER

1. To our honorable guests, students and fellow teachers, a Good afternoon! We are here once again in
another festival of strength, power and camaraderie in this Intramurals.

Intramurals or sports competition is essential to the well-being of the students. Sports instills how to
win, how to accept defeat, how to interact with other people and how to mold them to have desirable
character traits that are vital in achieving success in the future.

2. Now to formally start the program, let us all stand up for the singing of our Philippine national anthem
to be led by Mrs. Magdalena A. Taladtad, Teacher III of the Naisud National High School.

May we request Mrs. Thelma A. Sitioco (Principal I of Naisud NHS) and Mr. Rey Emmanuel S. Solano
(School Sports Coordinator) for the raising of our Philippine National Flag.

3. Please remain standing for the prayer to be led by Ms. Rosemarie I. Inosanto, SHS Student of Naisud
NHS.

Followed by The Aklan Hymn and Ibajay March.

4. May we request Mr. Andres U. Tumaca and Ms. April A. Magallanes for the raising of our School
Banner.

5. This will be followed by the Raising of Team Banners which will be represented by the Team Muses
and Escorts.

6. And now, let us all listen to Mr. Joseph Salvador B. Simera for his Words of welcome.

7. To formally introduce our guest speaker, lets give the floor to Mr. Rey Emmanuel S. Solano, our
School Sports Coordinator.

8. To motivate us with his words of wisdom, may I call on Hon. Mabini I. Olid, Punong brgy. Of Naisud
for his Inspirational Message.

9. Let us all give our undivided attention for a production number to be presented by the Arnisador of
Naisud NHS.

10. That was remarkable presentation. Thank you Arnisadors!!

 11. Now, we will witness the Lighting of the Torch by Mr. Jasper T. Montesa (Palarong Pambansa Player
in boxing), Ms. Jamila S. Rimpos (Palarong Pambansa Player in Arnis Girls), and Ms. Rosalyn S.
Penticase (Palarong Pambansa Player in basketall Girls)

The torch-lighting ceremony links the modern games with ancient Greece conveying a sense of continuity and
an air of respectability and authority. It also represent a sacred truce and the flame in the cauldron would burn
throughout the games as a sign of purity, reason and peace.

12. May I call on Ms. Jamila S. Rimpos Rimpos (Palarong Pambansa Player in Arnis Girls) to led the
Athletes Prayer.

13. Now, Ms. Rosalyn S. Penticase (Palarong Pambansa Player in basketall Girls), will lead the Athletes
Oath of Amateurism.

14. May I call on Mr. Rey Emmanuel S. Solano, our School Sports Coordinator, to read the Ground Rules of
the Games and also to conduct the Pledge of Commitment.

15. May we call upon our ever vibrant Principal II of Naisud National High School, Mrs. Thelma A. Sitioco
for the Declaration of Formal Opening Intramural Meet 2017, a round of applause please.

III. Mass Dancing Competition

a. May we request Mr. Herbert c. Sastre, Teaching Staff of Naisud NHS to formally introduce our
Board of Judges.

b. To read the Rules and Criteria of the Contest. I would like to call on Mrs. Mary Rose F. Balasabas,
our School Cultural Coodinator.

c. Now, for the most awaited part of the program, we shall be witnessing the exhibition of talents
presented by our Naisud National HS students in their mass Mass Dancing Competition.

This is such an amazing start for the Intramurals. This will surely get the athletes a big jumpstart for the sports
events in the next few days.

We would like to express our appreciation to all our honorable guests and to all the students and faculty for their
participation in our program this morning.
