Dilute 2 vials of anti-snake Venom Serum with 10mls of water for injection (each vial) = 20 mls
dilution .
Put the 20 mls dilution into 30mls Normal Saline = 50 mls dilution
Run in 1 - 2 hours
If allergic reaction /anaphylactic reaction develop after the administration of the anti snake venom
serum :
Intramuscular injection of 1 mls of 1 : 1000 adrenaline

If after 1 hour muscle weakness has not been relieved second dose is
indicated.

1 mls contain 1mmol (1 mEq/l ) of Sodium and Bicarbonate ion.
