Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter and hereby attached my resume and TOR to apply for the position of
Mechanical Engineer or any related position that fits my qualification as engineer in your company.
I took for the first time and passed the Board Examination for Mechanical Engineer last
September 28-29, 2017 here in Cebu City. I received an average rating of 80.65%, a rating which does not
only shows how serious I am with my profession but also put me in parity or somehow give me a
competitive advantage over other applicants for the said position.
As an engineer I believe that aside from the technical aspect, leadership ability and good work
ethics play a vital role to ensure the success of any projects that we handle.
During my college days I have demonstrated good leadership ability by being the head of
different student and cause-oriented organizations. In fact I was awarded by Rotary as one of the
outstanding Rotaract Club President in our district.
I also believe that the ability to communicate your ideas is a very important quality of an engineer
specially when working with a team. As an organizer of various community projects I have developed my
communication skills by talking or doing project presentation to heads of the academe, government
agencies and community leaders. I have learn to be more responsible and goal-oriented.
Given my knowledge and experience both in the technical and non-technical aspect I am very
much certain that I can make a significant contribution to your team and to the company.
