As I am moving on, I noticed some changes on the students. Some students were moved to a higher
level, which means I really achieved good teaching. I used different assessment strategies to evaluate
and assess student. For example, using the checklist during the activities for second grader is a great
chance can the teacher use to evaluate the students ability in mathematics, because the students in the
activity part are fully focused on trying to solve the activity they are required to do. Adding to that, in
mathematics lesson there is one correct answer, so it will be easy for the teacher to assess students.
KWL chart for grade two students is active to use while they are sitting in groups. To ensure answering
the KWL questions and work on improving it later, the teacher should be accurate in assessing the
student. And that be designing the questions related to achieving the learning outcomes and meet the
students ability in learning. In result, the teacher seeks to activate students prior knowledge, introduce
the unit objectives, and observe their learning, and through this assessment, the grades are not marked
in the book grades because the point is to develop and improve the student.

Noticing some changes on the students.

After I had finished observing the classes for this week, I discussed with my MST about some changes for
some students, and how I helped them move from their level of their ability to a higher level. My
assessment sheet that I made for observing the students level, helped with teaching the concepts of
the whole class.

With the assessment sheet I can easily got who need more practice and who dont. Then I sit with the
student who needs more practice and help her. For example, Hamdan, he wasnt able to add individual
digit using the number line with the teacher but, now he is able to add with the teacher and wants to
understand more than any time.
