Skills & Abilities

MANAGEMENT
I am an organized and hardworking individual. Previous employers have given me tasks to complete alone as well as
with groups of people which taught me multiple forms of proper time management. I complete work in a timely manner
while following rules and guidelines.

COMMUNICATION
Multiple previous employers assigned me the role of training new employees. This improved my communication skills
when working with others as well as an Introduction to Communications class (Spring 2017) which informed me of
proper ways to communicate in a professional work environment.

LEADERSHIP
As a member of Key Club at Hazleton Area High School, I became vice president of the club due to an outstanding
number of hours contributed to community service. This not only improved my communication methods but also taught
me important leadership skills as the club consisted of over one hundred members.

Experience
DIETARY AID | MOUNTAIN CITY NURSING AND REHABILITATION CENTER | MAY 2013 OCTOBER 2013
Some job responsibilities included cleaning the kitchen, preparing food for patients, and maintaining an organized work
space.

CREW MEMBER | MCDONALDS | JANUARY 2014- AUGUST 2014, NOVEMBER 2016-DECEMBER 2016
While working on counter and in drive thru, I obtained important communication skills through customer service.
Some tasks performed daily were training other employees, taking customers orders on a digital screen, and providing
customers with a positive dining experience.
ADMINISTRATIVE AID | PP&L POWER COMPANY | AUGUST 2014
This office job required me to file important documents, change physical documents to PDF documents, sort mail, and
organize customer information in Word documents. Once a week I was required to clean out the filing system and
remove unimportant documents as well as turn documents into PDF documents needed by fellow employees.

QUALITY ASSURANCE DIRECTOR | EB BRANDS | JUNE 2015 AUGUST 2015, NOVEMBER 2015 AUGUST 2016
This hands-on job allotted me the freedom to perform routine tasks without requiring observation or instruction from a
supervisor. Some daily tasks performed were documenting incoming mail on a Word document, filing product label
information, and performing internal company audits in a factory setting.

CONTRIBUTING WRITER | THE ODYSSEY ONLINE | FALL 2016

As a contributing writer, I am required to produce and publish at least one article every week for the online media
outlet. The first time I became a writer for the Odyssey, I was also an Editor in Chief, which allowed me to edit my fellow
students articles before they were published. I am working to achieve this title again after taking time off from the
Odyssey Online.

CONTRIBUTING WRITER | THE VOICE | MARCH 2017

I have submitted and published an article in Bloomsburg Universitys school newspaper on March 30 th, 2017 titled
Health coping mechanisms when the stress becomes too much. The article is a thirteen-hundred-word list of healthy
ways for students to deal with stress during the school year.
