OTHER DETAILS:
Terrain, Window Dressing and Avista (who owns the building) will promote the shop
extensively including paid marketing.
We will work with each maker/business to make sure goods are presented in a
professional manner meeting expectations.
Contracts between WD and the maker/business will be on a month-to-month basis. This
gives the maker/business the most flexibility.
In order to keep the shop as full and dynamic as possible, well be reaching out to a
handful of additional Bazaar/Terrain artists who have proven success similar to that of
the cohort. However, the Window Dressing cohort will be given preference.
Each business will be given the opportunity to fill the same amount of space, which will
ultimately be determined once we solidify who will be moving forward.
There is the potential for separate studio space in Steam Plant in the near future.
This is a pilot program and most-likely will need to be tweaked and improved upon as we
go along, as well as receive feedback/ideas from the makers/businesses.
We will have a more in-depth informational meeting soon. Date TBD.
We will have a grand opening party. S ide note - I would like to do quarterly parties to
keep the shop feeling fresh.
