A RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE EMPLOYMENT OF BRYAN

ROBERTS

WHEREAS, Draper City entered into an employment agreement with Bryan Roberts to
serve as the Citys Chief of Police on or about August 6, 2012; and

WHEREAS, under the terms of the employment agreement, and in accordance with City
Code Section 2-3-080, Bryan Roberts is an at-will employee subject to termination with or without
cause at any time; and

WHEREAS, the Draper City Council finds it is in the best interest of the City to terminate
Bryan Roberts employment, without cause.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF DRAPER

CITY, STATE OF UTAH, AS FOLLOWS:

SECTION 1. Employment Status. The employment of Bryan Roberts with the City of
Draper as the Draper City Police Chief is terminated, without cause.

SECTION 2. Severability. If any section, part or provision of the Resolution is found to

be invalid or unenforceable, such invalidity or unenforceability shall not affect any other portion
of the Resolution, and all sections, parts and provisions of the Resolution shall be severable.

SECTION 3. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
passage.

OF UTAH, ON THE 21st DAY OF NOVEMBER 2017.
