Created an incentive program for math mastery throughout the entire building to help with one of the School Improvement

rewarded for mastery of 90% or higher. Grades 2-4 tested in addition and subtraction only. Grades 5-8 tested in addition,
subtraction, multiplication and division. This helped to improve students confidence in math, accountability in all academics,

Authored a handwriting curriculum, selected agreed upon paper choices and suggested amounts of time to be devoted to direct
instructions for students K-5. A clear and consistent response to intervention for students struggling with penmanship.

Teacher Leadership Initiative Participant, Cohort 2, 2014-2015


Collaborated with educators around the nation (via Zoom, Blackboard, Google Hangout, face to face) to have conversations
about educational reform in the areas of Policy, Instructional and Association Leadership. Created and presented a proposal for
adoption to Ann Arbor Public Schools of a National Board Certification Cohort. The TLI Program is a coordinated effort
