-d physicalpath ...
This option specifies the name of the physical directory on the harddisk to which

-i IP_address
This option specifies the IP address to which the FTP site will be mapped.
Use dotted decimal notation (numbers separated by dots). The only exception to
dotted decimal notation is when specifying the text string "All Unassigned" which
means that all unassigned IP addresses shall be used by the FTP site. "All
Unassigned" must be used with care, because the FTP server will stop an FTP site
immediately after ftpcreate created it if another FTP site exists which uses the
same port number. ftpcreate will not report this, but any bad IP address or other
misconfiguration, which means that the FTP Site could not be bound to the given
IP address and port, will be reported by the MSFTPSVC service in the system
event log. Generally, care should be taken to only use IP addresses and port
numbers that are known to be correct, to avoid potential problems with the FTP
server when it tries to bind the FTP site to an address. A misconfigured FTP site
should be removed with ftprm and can then be created again with a valid address.

trautil [ -o ON_or_OFF]
2 Parameters
2.1 Options
This dialogue command creates a trace task that will log a subset of traceable
events in a cyclic trace log, with a specified number of buffers.
Operands
task_name This operand specifies the name of the trace task.
trace_set This operand specifies the subset of events.
number_of_buffers This operand specifies the number of buffers.
LOG This operand is not a variable.
A trace task selects a trace set. A trace set can include a combination of basic
trace sets.
A basic trace set is defined by its type and value. There are four different basic
trace sets:
A specific trace record.
Type: R
Value: Trace record name
All the trace records in a specific group (class, subsystem or other group). This is
implemented as a wild card in the end of the record name, and assumes that the
trace record names follow the Adjunct Processor (AP) name rules.
Type: C
Value: Name of class or subsystem
All the trace records in a specific process.
Type: P
Value: Process name
APG40: The process name is always interpreted as a lower case.
All the records in a specific (active) process instance.
Type: I
Value: Process id (pid)
A trace set can also be defined to include a combination of basic trace sets, using
characters (+, -, *) operators and parenthesis. It is possible to define a trace set
as:
All trace records in set 1 except the trace records in set 2, using the minus (-)
character as operator.
All trace records in set 1 and all trace records in set 2, using the plus (+)
character as operator.
All trace records in set 1 that are also in set 2, using the asterisk (*) character as
operator.
For example:
P my_trace - ( C my_class - C my_class_tr1 )
will select all traceable events in the my_trace process, except the traceable
events in my_class that are not in my_class_tr1. Restriction: if a process
instance is specified in one of the basic sets, only trace records in the process
instance will be selected.
Delete [task_name]

-e Generate event LF
This option indicates that a LF containing event data is generated.
-f format
Set Database Management System (DBMS) for which format files are to be
generated. It can be Sybase, Oracle, or operator defined. For each LF a DBMS
specific format file is generated.
-i Initiate LF generation
The generation of LFs is initiated.
-o Select all object types
All available object types are selected.
-p period
Set period of summarising
This option indicates the period over which summaries are calculated in minutes.
For example, "-p 60" indicates that the data is summarised for 60 minutes
periods. The period must be a multiple of the Basic Recording Period (BRP).
-r Generate regular data LFs (only available for use with the LF output format).
This option indicates that load files containing regular data are generated.
-s stoptime
Set stop time for generation
This option sets the end of the time interval over which data should be generated.
The stop time must be specified as [[[YYYY]MM]DD]hhmm. The stop time must be
specified if no static data is requested.
-t gohDestination
Set gohDestination
This options indicates the Generic Output Handler (GOH) destination where the
output files are targeted to. Destinations are defined within the GOH
-u Set Universal Time Coordinated (UTC) time zone
This option sets the time zone to UTC. By default the Adjunct Processor (AP) local
time is used.
-z outputFormat
Set the output format for files being outputted.
This option overrides the default output format. The default output format is set in
the parameter file. It is set from the standard output format in the changeable
section of the parameter file. The default output format can be either LF format or
the Abstract Syntax Notification (ASN1) format.

the Abstract Syntax Notation (ASN.1) format.
2.1.1 Operands
interval ...
Set the interval value of the MP
This option sets the amount of time over which each load file is generated. The
value is specified in minutes and must be less than 1440 minutes (24 hours).
If only Object Types with Basic Recording Period (BRP) 15 minutes are used in a
report the interval value must be minimum 15 minutes and a multiple of the BRP
15 and of the summarization period.
If only Object Types with BRP 5 minutes are used in a report the interval must be
a multiple of BRP 5 and of the summarization period.
If both BRP 15 and 5 minutes are used in a report the requirement for BRP 15
minutes must be used for the interval.
reportID
The reportID value of the MP
The option sets the ID of the report to be used in the MP.

fosarchive -d destination -p directory -s maxfilesize [ -i][ -m]
archivecommand
2 Parameters
2.1 Options
-d destination
Name of the file-based destination to archive.
The name of the file-based destination is used to retrieve the directory name from
the parameter file. The file-based destination must be a destination which is
defined in the parameter file. If the directory name is empty, fosarchive uses the
default %FOS_DATA%\<OutputStreamID>\<SenderID>. Either option -d or
option -p must be specified.

2.1.1 Operands
archivecommand
This operand is the archive command string, including the name of the backup
medium.
It is assumed the archivecommand returns zero on success and non-zero on
failure. It has to be possible to specify the archive directory as the last option of
the archivecommand, because the fosarchive command appends the directory
name internally. Potentially any archiving program available on the operating
system may be used, but because of constraints (see below) imposed by
fosarchive it may be necessary to use an archivecommand wrapper instead. The
following archive command wrappers are delivered for APG40:
fostar
foscpio
These give limited tar and cpio functionality respectively.

2 Parameters
2.1 Options
-0 ...
Read a list of filenames terminated by a null character instead of a newline
This option can be used to archive files whose names contain newlines
-A ...
Append
Append to an existing archive. The archive must be a disk file specified with the
-O or -F option.
-a ...
Reset access times
Reset access times of input files after they have been copied.
-B ...
Block input/output 5120 bytes to the record
The default buffer size is 512 bytes when this and the -C options are not used. -B
is meaningful only with data directed to or from a character special device.
-c ...
Read or write header information in ASCII character form for portability
This option produces an archive more amenable to transfer through non-binary
streams and is highly recommended for moving data between different
processors.
-L ...
Dereference symbolic links
Dereference symbolic links (copy the files that they point to instead of copying the
links)
-V ...
Print a dot
Print a "." for each file processed

-v ...
Verbose
Print a list of file names.
-C blocksize ...
Input/output blocksize
Input/output blocksize bytes to the record, where buffersize is replaced by a
positive integer. The default buffersize is 512 bytes when this and -B options are
not used.
-H format ...
Use specified archive format
Use specified archive format. The valid formats are listed below; the same names
are also recognized in all-caps. The default format is bin. bin: The obsolete binary
format odc: The old (POSIX.1) portable format newc: The new (SVR4) portable
format, which supports file systems having more than 65536 i-nodes crc: The new
(SVR4) portable format with a checksum added tar: The old tar format ustar: The
POSIX.1 tar format
-M message ...
Print specified message
Print specified message when the end of a volume of the backup media is
reached, to prompt the user to insert a new volume. If the specified message
contains the string "%d", it is replaced by the current volume number (starting at
1).
-O outputdevice ...
Direct the output of cpio to output device
Direct the output of cpio to an output device. If output device is a character
special device and the current medium is full, replace the medium and type a
carriage return to continue to the next medium.
When you specify a tape device as output medium, please use /dev/mt , which
will amount to using //./TAPE0 as tape device. Do not specify //./TAPE0 as
tape device.
-F file ...
Archive filename
Archive filename to use instead standard output. This option is used in the same
way as the -O option (the difference is that this option can also be specified when
reading existing archives with cpio, whereas the -O option can only be used when
writing new archives).
2.1.1 Operands
dir ...
Directory to be archived.
The list of files contained in the directory is provided on the standard input of the
cpio command. In the directory path, backslashes (\) must be used.
