A MAN WITH LEADERSHIP

If I have a chance; I would not misuse my vote, it was the key for the change of Philippines and
for change of the Filipinos. For me Gibo Teodoro and Jejomar Binay is the perfect tandem isn’t it? An
educated man and a man with courage and determination. They are mold and shape to take a big bet that
would change their life, the election for the Presidency and Vice Presidency. I choose them for they
where a good man with true hearth and they both have the good sense of leadership as well as
responsibility. Both of them face great despair, controversies and problems that change their beliefs and
personality. Even though only Jejomar Binay won, I believed that Teodoro will still help the Filipinos not
as politician but as a good citizen of the Philippines.
Gibo Teodoro finished his studies in the most respectable universities here in the Philippines and
abroad. He is a well known pilot and the former Defense Secretary during the Arroyo Administration.
During the Bagyong Ondoy, Gibo as a Defense Secretary, shown his great sense of leadership by
evacuating and rescuing victims of the said typhoon. And in the climax of Maguidanao massacre, as a
standard bearer of his party-list he immediately kicks the Ampatuan family from the Lakas- Kampi CMD
and causes the ruined of the Ampatuan’s Dynasty. Truly he is a very kind and responsible man and I
believed he finished his term as a Defense Secretary with pride and honor.
Teodoro and Noy-Noy are cousins; they belong to the rich and influential family of the
Coajuaco. I consider people around him greatly affect his candidacy. Large scale of people believed that
Gibo is a commissioned man of Gloria. He can’t move himself from the shadow of the past
administration. Another is the death of Cory Aquino that led Noy-Noy to run for the Presidency. Perhaps
if Noy-Noy didn’t run for the president and support Gibo for the position, I ‘am sure that the whole
Coajuaco family will also support Gibo. And the most probably scenario is that Gibo would win the
Presidency. And for the Vice Presidency, I will vote Jejomar Binay for he is a role
model for the Filipinos. Binay pursue his dreams in the most admired universities here in the Philippines.
He is a distinguished activist, lawyer, president of Boy Scout of the Philippines and the former Mayor of
Makati. During his childhood days, he struggle for food, love and education, for his mother and father
died because of a fire accident. Then he lived to his uncle, with his courage for not to be a burden he
enters a work in his early age. Years later he graduated and admitted to the bar. Binay became an activist
during the regime Marcos. And for being an activist he is put into prison. Until the dictatorship ruined and
the new administration emerge. Binay is appointed by Cory to become the new Mayor of Makati. How do
I know all of this!, it’s all because Binay is a part of a fraternity which my brother also belong .
I tell you all of this for just one reason Binay is very deserving for the
position and now that he is the Vice President. I believed that he can handle the position with more
dignity, humbleness and righteousness than any other Vice President of the Philippines do.
