Instrucciones para los autores
Envo de originales para su evaluacin
Los artculos o notas enviados para su publicacin en Cuader-
nos de Economa debern ser originales no publicados ni acep-
tados para su publicacin. Adems, los trabajos remitidos no
podrn encontrarse en proceso de evaluacin para su publica-
cin en otro medio de difusin. Los trabajos deben enviarse a
travs de la plataforma de envo de manuscritos de Elsevier
(EES), disponible en http://ees.elsevier.com/cesjef.
En el momento en que el autor enva el original para su
evaluacin, es necesario enviar separadamente el artculo y
los datos de contacto o filiacin del autor. El artculo que se
enva a revisar ser annimo, por lo que no contendr datos
personales: nombre y apellidos del autor, direccin postal y
direccin de correo electrnico. La filiacin completa del/
los autor/es se har constar en hoja aparte.
La pgina inicial de todos los artculos incluir ttulo re-
sumen, palabras clave y cdigo JEL. La revista publicar
abstract y palabras clave en ingls y espaol.
Formato preferible del texto

Prrafos con un interlineado de 1,5 espacios.
Encabezamientos de cada epgrafe, numerados y en negri-
ta, distancindose dos espacios del prrafo precedente.

Encabezamientos de cada sub-epgrafe, numerados y en
cursiva, distancindose un espacio del prrafo precedente.
Las ecuaciones irn alineadas a la izquierda y su numera-
cin a la derecha.
Las ilustraciones y tablas debern ser citadas y numera-
das de forma consecutiva en el texto.

Si se hace referencia a varios autores, se citarn en orden
cronolgico. Por ejemplo, Smith (1776) y Keynes (1935).
Si se mencionan varios trabajos del mismo autor, se in-
dicar el apellido del autor y los aos de publicacin de
sus trabajos seguidamente, distinguiendo los de un mismo
ao mediante letras (a, b, c, etc.). Por ejemplo, Arendt
(1954, 1957a, 1957b, 1975). La referencia a una pgina
determinada se incluir tras el ao. Por ejemplo, Arendt
(1954:20).
Los trabajos remitidos a la revista debern ser inditos y no
estar en proceso de revisin ni haber sido enviados a otras
publicaciones simultneamente. Los autores deben confir-
mar este hecho durante el proceso de envo del manuscrito
a travs de la plataforma.
Cuadernos de Economa utilizar software para la detec-
cin de plagio, publicacin redundante o duplicada.
El autor de correspondencia es el responsable de garan-
tizar que la autora incluye los coautores apropiados, todos
han aprobado la versin enviada del manuscrito y muestran
su conformidad con su envo a la revista.
Durante el proceso de envo del manuscrito a travs de
la plataforma, el autor de correspondencia deber descri-
bir aquellas relaciones financieras o personales que puedan
tener los autores con otras personas u organizaciones y que
pudieran dar lugar a un conflicto de intereses en relacin
con el artculo que se remite para publicacin.

Author Guidelines
Sending originals for their consideration
The articles and notes sent for publication in Cuadernos
de Economa must be originals that are unpublished and
that have not been accepted for publication. In addition,
the documents sent cannot be under consideration for
publication in another means of diffusion. Submit your work
using the Elsevier (EES) platform for manuscript submission,
available at http://ees.elsevier.com/cesjef.
At the same time as you send the original for its evaluation,
you need to send the article and the contact information
or author filiation separately. The article sent for review
will be anonymous; that is, without personal information:
the corresponding authors name and surname(s), postal
address and e-mail address. Put the complete filiation of
the author(s) on a separate sheet.
The first page of all articles must include the title, abstract,
keywords and JEL classification code(s). The journal will publish
the abstract and the keywords in both English and Spanish.
Preferred text format
Font type: Times New Roman, 12.
Margins of 3 cm.
Paragraphs with line spacing of 1.5 spaces.
Headings for each section are to be numbered and in
bold type, with a distance of 2 spaces from the preceding
paragraph.
Headings of each subsection, numbered and in italics,
with a distance of 1 space from the preceding paragraph.
All equations should be aligned to the left, with their
numbering to the right.
All illustrations and tables must be mentioned and
numbered consecutively in the text.

If you make reference to several authors, do so in
chronological order. For example: Smith (1776) and Keynes
(1935).
If you mention various works by the same author, indicate
the authors surname followed by the years of publication
in chronological order in brackets, distinguishing those
from a single year by letters (a, b, c, etc.). For example:
Arendt (1954, 1957a, 1957b, 1975). Include the reference
to a single specific page after the year; for example,
Arendt (1954:20).
Ethical aspects
The works sent to the journal must be unpublished and not
be in the process of review or have been submitted to other
publications at the same time. The authors must confirm
that this is the case when submitting the document through
the platform.
Cuadernos de Economa will also employ software to
detect plagiarism, redundancy and duplication in the
publication.
The author of the correspondence is responsible
for guaranteeing that the authorship includes all the
appropriate contributors and that they have all approved
the version of the text sent, and agreed to send it to the
journal.
In the process of submitting the manuscript through the
programme, the author of the correspondence must explain
any financial or personal relations that the authors may
have with other persons or organizations which may lead to
a conflict of interest in relation with the article to be sent
for publishing.
