More about this role

Community Lead owns the creation of Rubik Hub overall community strategy and is shaping the
heart and soul of Rubik Hubs work across all communities.

This role represents the Rubik Hub community within the wider ecosystem, curates the Rubik Hub
members, bringing together like-minded mentors, experts, investors who understand the value of give
before you get and are able to positively contribute to our startups development.

Rubik Hubs products can range from community building type of events (Knowledge sharing
sessions, Mentor breakfast), startup educational events (Junior Achievement, Rockstart, Techstars
Startup Weekend, etc) to founder focused events (matchmaking, mentoring, themed-based
workshops on specific needs, (pre)accelerator type of events).

This is a senior role reporting directly to the CEO, and leading a team of direct reports.

Responsabilities
Provides leadership and roadmap definition for community building type of events (Knowledge
sharing sessions, Mentor breakfast etc) and Rubik Hubs own events (organised in the co-
working space);
Takes a human-centered approach to the development and implementation of community
products;
Leads the mapping of the entrepreneurial-support community ecosystem in Romania (starting
with the NE region) and Eastern Europe;
Generates potential leads for all groups involved in the entrepreneurial support-community
(mentors, experts, investors);
Plays a pivotal role in the building and activation of the entrepreneurial-support community
(mentors, investors, startup experts, suppliers etc);
Works with the Community Relationship Manager(s) to develop best practice principles and
guidelines, as well as strategic direction;
Improves the feedback mechanism for Rubik Hubs members to give constant input and
feedback on our community products performance, and utilizes this feedback to improve
community products and initiatives;
Oversees the creation and constant update of the Community Database;
Provides regular reporting to ADR, other stakeholders, and wider community (quarterly &
annual community reports);
Identifies partnerships and sponsorships opportunities and works closely with the CEO;
Coaches and mentors the Community Managers team.

Experience
3 + years of demonstrated experience in building (online or offline) communities, creating
community-products, and managing resources and teams;
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or community management;
2+ years of experience creating content (mainly online) for community and human-centric
community products;
At least 1 year of entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial experience.

Must have
Loves being around people and interacting with them daily;
Able to communicate and connect with both C-level and entry-level roles;
High energy and passion about helping startups and building the entrepreneurial ecosystem;
Excellent communicator in both Romanian and English in a variety of formats: written, verbal,
in person, and online;
Be an active member of any community who creates and engages community members;
Be a connector engaging and inspiring;
Experience building communities and cultivating advocates;
Entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to act effectively with high-level direction;
A self-starter.

Nice to have
International experience in a similar role.
