Want Automatic MRP run on daily

basis
Hi Gurus,
Requirement is want to run automatic MRP daily for plant.
In MDBT transaction for running MRP daily for plant say XYZ, I have put following values in
Variant
1.Plant-XYZ
2.Processing Key-NETCH
3.Create PR-1-Create PR
4.Schedule Lines-3-Schedule lines
5.Create MRP List-1-MRP List
6.Planning Mode-1-adapt planning data(normal data)
7.Scheduling-1-Determination of Basic dates for planned orders
8.Planning date:-Todays date-02/12/08
Is this right?
Also I want to schedule this variant for daily MRP run for the plant XYZ.
Please assist step by step for how to schedule this?

Dear Ravi,
You can schedule the job in T Code SM36 for the program name RMMRP000 by selecting the
variant
and you can make it as a daily job and also you can specify the time at what time you should run.

Dear,
In addition to reply by our expert you can do this in MDBT also.
After creating the variant, park your cursor at the variant and click the Schedule job button.
Fill in the Date and Time value.
Click Schedule periodically and you are prompt to choose the period.
Click the Create button and you are done.
To check, you can click the Show Scheduling button.

But please tell me for daily MRP run what should be the ideal setting in this pop-up window?
Presently it's value 1 for all.

Dear,
Use transaction SM37, in the intial screen input the program name and job name and execute
the transtion with "Scheduled" status check box active. Once you get the scheduled job go to
change mode from menu bar Job--->Change or Ctrl+F11. In the change job screen hit the "start
condition" function button and here you change the frequency of this the periodic job as daily.
Program : RMMRP000 you can find the MRP Run status in T. Code : SM37
Or,
T Code : MDBT
Create a variant Shift + F7
Name your variant, click on create variant
Next window click on continue
Give all the parameters you want use for planning run
Click on attribute
Give description
Save the variant
Select the variant and click on scheduling
Schedule the job as per your requirements- daily.

Hi,
In MDBT transction you have the option to include daily in Schedule tab select the period as
Daily and the enter the time as per your timings like night 12:00 hours system time.
The MDBT will run as per your factory calender with only working days.

Dear,
Select schedule periodically click on it
Active as Day- and period 1. means daily scheduling.
Date and time enter as per your requirement it is recomended to use midnight time to optimize
system performance. Enter date say 02.12.2008 time 12:00 then system will schedule MRP
every day at 12:00 HRS with effective from 02.12.2008.
