Also known as Clepsydra. The Clepsydras consisted of a mechanism whose aim was that the level
of a water tank would rise with a constant velocity. For which a float was used that regulated the
entrance of water to an auxiliary tank so that the level of this one remained constant and
therefore its output flow to the main tank.
Tambin conocido como Clepsydra. La Clepsydras consisti en un mecanismo cuyo objetivo era
que el nivel de un tanque de agua subiera con una velocidad constante. Para lo cual se utiliz un
flotador que regulaba la entrada de agua a un tanque auxiliar para que el nivel de ste
permaneciese constante y por lo tanto su salida fluya hacia el tanque principal.
Due to the increase in temperature, the liquid in the interior begins to evaporate, but this will not
be able to escape and consequently there is an increase in the pressure inside the pot.
The objective is to regulate the pressure inside the pot with a valve to make this process safer.
