Theme: The Indigeneous Agricultural Product to Encounter Hidden Hunger in the Alpha Era

A. Theme Description
Alpha is the era when the people already experienced with a technology in their life, for
example processing food, transportation, communication, etc. Alpha era technology also
influence human habit, especially in the food consumption. In the human habit, food has very
important roles such as human energy resources for growth phase and also developing phase.
Nowadays, the people just consumed food without consider the nutrients content. It make the
condition that people say Hidden Hunger.
Hidden Hunger was a condition when the people not feel hungry but their nutrient
requirement was not fulfilled enough. This condition caused by food that do not has enough
nutrient content, for example junk food.
People does not feel hungry but their body feel it.
This theme arranged to stimulate the IAAS candidate to make solution to encounter
hidden hunger in the world.

B. Doing Project Description

Doing project is a mission for the IAAS candidate to be qualified as a member of IAAS.
a. All the candidate have time to prepare their project from October 25th November 3rd
b. The Project that has been done will be exhibit in the IAAS Food Festival
c. IAAS Food Festival will be held on November, 4th 2017
d. In every group there is a Liaison Officer (LO) as a partner for doing project

C. Assignments
a. Make an indigenous agricultural product which is from around the world. Here are the
raw materials that have been specified for each group :
Group 1: Sweet Potato Group 7: Chicken
Group 2: Milk Group 8: Green Vegetables
Group 3: Processed Product from Fish Group 9: Honey
Group 4: Sugarcane Group 10: Processed Product from Fish
Group 5: Eggs Group 11: Tea
Group 6: Corn Group 12: Beans
b. If you have done making your product, the next step that you must do is make a paper
that consist of:
- Product description
- How to make it
- Why it can against hidden hunger problem
c. For individual task, make a 1 minute video consist of:
- Introduction of yourself
- What is IAAS means to you
- In the end of your video you must say My name (your name), as an IAAS Candidate
and Im ready for encounter Hidden Hunger in my Country!.
Then, upload it to Instagram and tag to @iaasbrawijaya @iaas_indonesia @iaas_world

NB:
a) All the product must be collected and will be exhibit at IAAS Food Festival
b) Paper format: Arial, 11, Margin : 4-3-3-3, max. 3 pages including the cover
c) Soft copy of paper must be collected and send it maximum at November, 2nd 2017 to e-
mail: iaasub@gmail.com with the format name file Group(Number)_ProjectOR2017,
and subject email (YourRawMaterial) for Encounter Hidden Hunger
d) Hard copy of paper of each group must be collected to the comittee of IAAS at least D-2
of IAAS Food Festival, and it has to be in a neatly bound form with other group papers,
and being a "Menu Book of IAAS Food Festival
e) Video must be upload to your Instagram at November 2nd 2017, at 19.00 WIB.
f) For further technical related IAAS Food Festival will be given further information
through each LO.
