4.2. Vibracin Forzada:
En este ensayo se instala una mquina en la estructura que genera una vibracin con
frecuencia conocida. Se determina el desplazamiento mximo para distintos valores de la
frecuencia de la mquina y por medio del mtodo de ancho de bandas se puede determinar la
frecuencia de la estructura y la razn de amortiguamiento.

1. INTRODUCCIN:
Para resolver un problema dinmico de varios GDLs, mediante superposicin modal, hemos utilizado
hasta ahora, como vectores de forma a superponer, a la solucin exacta del problema de valores propios
([K]-2[M])[] = 0.
Una de las desventajas principales en el uso de estos vectores, radica en que no toman en cuenta la
distribucin de carga dentro de la estructura, por lo cual su uso suele generar mltiples formas modales
ortogonales a las cargas aplicadas, que no participan en la respuesta dinmica de la estructura,
generando trabajo computacional adicional sin ninguna utilidad.
En el presente resumen se pretende explicar la tcnica de generacin de vectores de Ritz dependientes
de la carga, que corresponde simplemente al mtodo de Rayleigh-Ritz mejorado, mediante una eleccin
inteligente de los vectores de forma, en base a las distribuciones de carga dentro de la estructura.

Aunque ambos algoritmos solucionan en igual medida el problema que presenta el mtodo de Gram-
Schmidt clsico, el de la izquierda (ortogonalizacin hacia delante) permite trabajar matricialmente el
problema, permitiendo realizar cada paso iterativo con solo 2 operaciones matriciales (evitando un
proceso iterativo dentro de otro), aumentando la velocidad del proceso.

Cuando es requerido resolver de manera reiterada problemas de la forma [A] {x}={b}, utilizando siempre
la misma matriz [A], es recomendable, para acelerar los clculos computacionales, realizar la
triangularizacin de la matriz como LDLT. Con ello, el problema se resuelve de la forma:
