Name of Post QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Professor PhD in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University/Institute.

15-years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized University or a post-graduate

Institute or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
Organization.
OR
10-years post-PhD teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate
Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

The applicant must have 15 research publications (each in four copies)(with at least 05
publications in last 05 years), in HEC recognized journals.
Associate PhD in the relevant field from a HEC recognized University/ Institute.
Professor
10-years teaching/research in a HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institute or
professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization.
OR
5-years post PhD teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-
graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

The applicant must have 10 publications (with at least 04 publications in last 05 years), in
HEC recognized journals.
Assistant Masters degree (Foreign) OR M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degrees awarded after
Professor 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field from an HEC recognized
Institution.
OR
Ph.D. in the relevant field from HEC recognized University/Institute.

04 (Four) years teaching/research experience in a recognized University or a post-graduate

Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International
organization.

No Experience required for PhD degree holders.

Lecturer First Class Masters degree/BS (4 years Program), (16 Years degree) in the relevant field from
HEC recognized University/Institution, No 3rd division in the academic career is allowed.

Furthermore, the candidate with 2nd Division in the Masters Degree but holding higher degree
i.e. M.Phil/Ph.D. or equivalent degree with 18 years of education could be considered.
Tenure Track Minimum Qualification, Experience, Salary packages and other terms conditions for services on
System Tenure Track System to be checked on HEC website i.e. www.hec.gov.pk.
Note:-
For the above categories applicants already in service should apply through proper channel.
Applications on the prescribed form showing full particulars along with latest CV, recent photographs,
Photostat copies of CNIC degrees (Marks, transcripts and Pass) certificates from Matriculation & onwards duly
attested by the Gazetted Officer.
Number of vacancies can be increased or decreased.
Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate application form(s) along with separate
bank draft.
The University reserves the right of cancellation of advertised posts at any stage.
Short listing of the candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University.
Incomplete form will be rejected.
No. T.A/D.A will be paid for appearing in the test/interview.
The candidates for the posts of Pharmacy department must produce valid registration certificate by PCP.
