Review of Related Literature
Alzheimer disease (AD). However the dementia- related gaming field is still uncharted.
In this Literature review, we list studies on serious games related to dementia, that are supported
by evaluation tests on dementia, MCI and AD patient with published, peer-reviewd results. This
review discusses the effect that games, which include Wiifil, Wii sports, Big Brains Academy,
lumosity, smart brain games, Master quiz, Mind et al., have on dementia-related conditions. The
review leads us to the conclusion that, firstly even though many games were developed for
entertainment purposes, they are being used for health reasons ( usually after technical or
conceptual modification), acquiring the characteristics of serious games and secondly, dementia
games do have an effect on cognitive impaired people. If that effect is long lasting and/or
transferable to the daily activities is a matter of further scientific investigation.
Research Questions:
Is a neurological disorder in which the death of brain cells causes memory loss
and cognitive dedine.
4. In what way can a person identify that he/she has Alzheimer Disease?
Alzheimer association gives a proportion of population affected just over a tenth
of people in the over 65- age group have the disease in U.S. in the over 85, the
proportion goes up to about third.
4. Celebrospinal relating to the brain and spinal cord or to these together with the cranial
and spinal nerves that innervate voluntary muscles.
5. Protocol a system of rules that explain the correct conduct and procedures to be
followed informal situation.
8. Pathology the study of diseases and of the changes that the cause.
9. Urine waste liquid that collects in the bladder before leaving the body.
10. Serum the part of blood that is like water and that contains substances ( called
antibodies that fight disease).
The effect of Alzheimer Disease to the Lifestyle Of Adults
Background:
Alzheimer diseases (AD) is a progressive degenerative disease of the brain from which
there is no recovery. The disease slowly attacks nerve cells in all parts of the cortex of the brain
and some surrounding structures thereby impairing a persons abilities to govern emotions
recognizes erroes and patterns, coordinate movement, and remember, ultimately a person with
AD loses all memory and mental functioning.
Alzheimer Disease is a common cause of dementia, in people age 65 years and older.
Dementia is significant loss of cognitive functions such as memory judgement, attention, and
abstract thinking.\
Some things are more commonly associated with Alzheimer disease not seen so often in
people without the disorder. These factors may there for have some direct connections. Some are
preventable or modifiable factors ( for example, reducing the risk of diabetes or heart disease
may in turn cut the risk of dementia. The Alzheimer diseases Association says in its early onset
information that it can sometimes be a long and frustrating process to get this diagnosis
confirmed since doctors do not expect to find Alzheimer in younger people.
Scope and Limitations
This study focused on all areas of Alzheimers diseases. This multidisciplinary journal
will help in understanding the neurobiology, genetics, pathogenesis, and treatment strategies of
Alzheimers diseases. The journal published objective reviews written by expert and leaders
actively engaged in research using cellular, molecular and animal models. The journal also
covers original articles on recent research in fast emerging areas of molecular diagnostics, brain
imaging, drug development and discovery, and clinical aspects of Alzheimers disease.
Manuscripts are encourage that relate to the synergistic mechanism of Alzheimer disease with
other dementia and neurodegenerative disorders.
On the other hand the journal is essential reading for researchers, educators and
physicians with interest in age related dementia and Alzheimers diseases. Current Alzheimers
research provide a comprehensive birds eye view of the current state of Alzheimers research
for neuroscientist, health science planners granting, caregivers, and families of this disadvantage
disease.
