 About The Institute
Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini (set up in 1993) imparts professional education at post
graduate level in the fields of management and information technology. Our PGDM program is approved by the
All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited from National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for
excellence in quality education. PGDM has also been granted equivalence to MBA degree by Association of Indian
Universities (AIU). Recently, we have started two post graduate programs in International Business and Retail
Management. JIMS has been constantly ranked among top 10 B-Schools of Excellence in Delhi and among Top 20
B-Schools of Excellence in India by CSR B School Survey. Recently at National Education Excellence Awards 2014

Marketing Club
Marketing club at JIMS provides a platform to students to enhance their understanding of marketing issues, explore career
opportunities in the field and stimulate interaction among students and corporates. In the past years club has organized variety
of events such as ad contests, brand quizzes, brand launch, selling activities and Digital marketing workshops to encourage
students interest in the field of marketing. It serves to develop the appropriate business acumen of students, create learning

Cultural club of JIMS organizes cultural and social activities for students and staff members at JIMS. These events boost skills

INVESTOFIN Finance Club
A student driven initiative that collaborates corporate and academia! Finance Club is for students who want to excel in the field of
finance and aim for a platform to gain financial knowledge. The club acts as an interface between the student community and the
financial world, viz. the financial institutions, regulatory bodies, corporates and academicians. The club aims to develop interest
of the students in the area of finance, enhance financial awareness, increase analytical and critical thinking skills, and provide
a comprehensive understanding of the finance Industry, including job profiles and skill-set required. Club regularly organizes
various activities, competitions, simulation games, guest lectures and workshops to provide insight on various aspects of finance.

HR CLUB
The HR club of JIMS has been developed for the holistic development & vivid understanding of HR roles & functions amongst
management students. Besides nurturing students with HR specific skills commensurate with managing people effectively, it also
ventures to develop IPS(Interpersonal skills) and managerial effectiveness with leadership attributes and other basic foundation
facilitating seamless metamorphosis of an effective professional to hit into corporate diverse life. We believe Technology and
machines can be managed with tools, but for managing human resource you need passion with committment.

Grooming for Self-Employment and
Entrepreneurship
JIMS Sector-5, Rohini is an institution which is among the first
ones to have an Incubation centre of its own. It started an E
cell by the name of Tarkash in the times when entrepreneurship
was neither talked about nor was a sought after career option.
Since then each year E cell organises events for the knowledge
enhancement, exposure, guidance and hand holding of its
students. E summits, Entrepreneurship week, Business plan
competitions, Simulation exercises, guest lectures, mentorship
sessions, participation in events pan India are among the few
from the gamut of activities the institution organises each
year with an overwhelming participation. Apart from this the
students at JIMS benefit from the diverse faculty experience in
developing their ideas and getting them incubated.
Sanjeev Marwaha, CEO Wisetime learning who is also a JIMS

The E Cell regularly organizes workshops, lectures and an
annual E Summit which attracts participation from various
startups and first generation entrepreneurs. In order to take
entreprenurial spirit to its logical end, JIMS is now providing
the seed capital to those projects which are finaly approved
after a multi stage screening process. One such venture which
received seed capital is that of a PGDM pursuing student, Jyoti
for her venture Globox. Glo Box is an upcoming monthly-based
subscription service for beauty products. It aspires to provide a
vast majority of beauty products, garnished with themed jewelry
for females. At Glo, the focus is to provide its customers with
trustable beauty products handpicked by its experts keeping
customer preferences in mind. Glo is very accurate with the
selection of the beauty products to satisfy the customers to its
best.

Final selection will be made on the basis of Academic Performance, CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT/ATMA
Score, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Also applicants need to have minimum 50% in their
Graduation.
