ANEXO A - Códigos de Demoras

Introducción

Los códigos de demoras de IATA fueron creados con el objetivo de estandarizar los motivos por los cuales un vuelo comercial puede haber salido demorado según su horario programado de despegue.

Estos códigos de demoras permiten conocer los causantes de la demoras de un vuelo y se deben usar en el mensaje en el cual se informan los datos del despegue.

A continuación se detallan los códigos de demora que pueden aplicarse a los vuelos.

Códigos que comienzan con 0

Los códigos de demoras que comienzan con 0 son usados para fines internos de las líneas aéreas. Cada línea aérea es libre de usar estos códigos para sus motivos particulares, sin embargo, los siguientes códigos son estándar, y son sugeridos por IATA:

01 - 05 Airline internal codes

06 No gate/stand availability due to own airline activity

09 Scheduled ground time less than declared minimum ground time

Códigos que comienzan con 1

Estos códigos son usados para describir demoras causadas por pasajeros y equipajes.

11 Late Check-in, acceptance of passengers after deadline

12 Late Check-in, congestion in check-in area

13 Check-in error

14 Oversales, booking errors

15 Boarding, discrepancies and paging, missing checked-in passenger at gate

16 Commercial Publicity, Passenger Convenience, VIP, Press, Ground meals and

missing personal items 17 Catering order, late or incorrect order given to supplier

18 Baggage processing, sorting, etc.

Estos códigos son usados para describir demoras causadas por Carga (21-26) y Correo (27-29)
