(Agreement to be obtained from Jewel Appraiser and Surety on Stamp paper of

requisite value & Nature)

This agreement made this day the 24th day of August, 2016 between the
Kadapa district Co-operative Central Bank Limited here in after referred to as
the Bank and Sri P.Penchalaiah S/o P.Narasimhulu here in after referred to as
the Appraiser of the Kadapa DCC Bank Pullampet Branch second part and
B.Lathamma W/o Pedda Pullaiah, Kothapet, Pullampet, Kadapa aged 50 years,
herein after called Surety of the other part is as follows:
Whereas the Bank has agreed to appoint the party of the second part as
Appraiser at the Kadapa DCCB (Pullampet) of the Bank for the purpose of
appraising the gold bullion and jeweler whom the terms and conditions here in
after mentioned. It is hereby agreed between the Bank and the appraiser as
follows:-
1) The appraiser shall value in terms of the correct qualities, quantity and
current international rate as also the market rate, all gold ornaments,
jewellery and bullion, which may be pledged to the Bank and which will
be sent to him for appraised by the Bank and the shall be bound by the
value fixed by him and shall be responsible for any loss which may bank
suffer on account of any wrong appraisal by him.
2) The Bank shall pay to the appraiser at 0.30 paise per hundred on the
amount advanced for which the jewels are pledged and sent to him for
appraisal or valued by him.
3) It is herby agreed that if loss is accrued by the Bank on account of the
conduct of the appraiser of improper performance, he shall be liable to
make good such loss to the Bank and the Bank would also be at liberty to
recover such amount by proceeding against the appraiser personally or on
the assets belonging to the appraiser.
4) Sri B.Lathamma shall be the surety for Sri P.Penchalaiah the jewel
appraiser and he has subscribed his signature to this agreement in such
capacity. He shall be liable as principal debtor to reimburse from his own
funds/property and personally liable also on any such loss which might be
occasioned to the Bank by the losses, lapse or misconduct of the
appraiser.
5) In witness whereof the parties hereto have set their bonds in the presence
of witnesses who have attested this document.
