The mother goat leaves her seven kids home alone and warns them not to open the door for anyone. Soon after, a wolf comes knocking, pretending to be their mother. Though suspicious at first, the kids let the wolf in after he covers his paw in flour from the miller to appear like their mother. The wolf eats all the kids except the youngest who hides in a clock. The mother goat returns home to find the wolf asleep outside. She rescues her kids from inside the wolf and fills him with stones so that he drowns when he goes to drink water.
