LSI GROUP TERMS & CONDITIONS PLEASE READ THESE IN FULL.

1. This quotation and price are valid for 60 days.


2. A quotation is not a guarantee of places at LSI. You and LSI must reach a written agreement
before places are guaranteed.
3. You must provide LSI with evidence that all group leaders have a police certificate of good
conduct or equivalent from their country of residence. Evidence of police checks for all
group leaders must be provided in the form of an official document from the police or
equivalent authority Group leaders are required to follow our code of conduct for group
leaders
4. You must confirm full details of the tour at least EIGHT weeks before the arrival of the group
unless otherwise agreed in writing. Details should include flight arrival and departure
information and a full name list including age, sex and any homestay/residential sharing
requests. All student/leader allergies and dietary requests must be included. Any
accommodation which is changed as a result of undeclared allergies will result in additional
charges being made as we are obliged to pay hosts a minimum 7 days or for the duration of
the programme (whichever is the shortest duration). If details are not provided on time, LSI
may not be able to provide the services in the quotation. This will include, in summer
season, any commitments to hosting students with students of another nationality. Dietary
Supplements: LSI charges dietary supplements for students who require certain types of
diets. There ARE no supplements for vegetarian or no-pork diets. Please note that we
cannot offer Halal food at homestay. We will also apply a special diet supplement (gluten
free, Dairy free, etc) of 20 per week.
5. You must inform LSI of any learning difficulties or physical conditions which may impact on a
students participation in the programme. You must also inform LSI of any medication taken
by students in writing at the time of booking.
6. If a student is under the minimum or over the maximum age for their course, LSI Cambridge
will not admit them.
7. You must send a non-refundable deposit of 10% of fees when you send full details of the
group eight weeks weeks before arrival.
8. You must send the remaining 90% of fees at least 15 working days before the arrival of the
group.
9. There is a 65 charge if documents are sent by courier.
10. All prices quoted are net of commission or Educational Advisors expenses.
11. This quotation is based on the final number of students in the group being within the range
specified. A number below this will result in re-costing.
12. You must inform LSI of any cancellations (individual or group) in writing. You must make
sure that receipt has been confirmed by LSI.
13. Charges apply if the tour is cancelled.
a. If students cancel or if significant changes are made to the tour details less than two weeks
before arrival, the cancellation charge will be 30% of the total fee.
b. If students cancel or if significant changes are made to the tour details less than one week
before arrival, the cancellation charge will be 100% of the total fee.
c. if a student cancels because of visa refusal, LSI will normally refund all fees minus non-
refundable registration fee (GBP 70) and all other fees already incurred may not be
refunded. An official notice or letter of refusal from the UK immigration authorities is
necessary. If you do not send this visa refusal documentation within 14 days, LSI must
report you and the student to the UK immigration authorities.

14. All members of a group must arrive and leave at the same time using the same transport or
extra charges will apply.
15. Groups should normally arrive and leave at the weekend except where agreed otherwise in
writing. For summer groups wishing to arrive on a Friday or Saturday please seek agreement
from the school before booking flights
16. Arrival times: groups must arrive at their homestays by 21:00 unless agreed by LSI in
writing. There is a 20 per student surcharge for groups that are scheduled to arrive
between 21.00 - 22.30. LSI reserves the right to refuse groups with an expected arrival after
22.30 or to require them to stay in a hostel/hotel at their own expense.
17. Departure times: groups must depart after 07:00 and must leave their accommodation in
the morning before 12:00 unless otherwise agreed in writing. There is a 20 per student
surcharge for groups that depart earlier than 07:00. LSI reserves the right to refuse groups
whose departure time is between 02.00 and 07.00 or to require them to stay in the
hostel/hotel at their own expense. For groups departing before 03.00 LSI reserves the right
to require the group to check out of homestay the evening before
18. Under UK immigration regulations, LSI must see and copy the passports or ID cards of all
students and group leaders.
19. LSI reserves the right to charge students who engage in vandalism ,graffitior criminal
damage of any kind for the repair / replacement cost of the damage they cause.
20. LSI reserves the right to expel students for gross misconduct or continuous misconduct
either within the school, while on school activities and excursions, or at their homestay.The
student then will leave LSI and accommodation as soon as possible and their care and
transfer home is the responsibility of the group leader. Students who are expelled do not
receive a refund. The Principal / School Directors decision is considered final.
21. LSI reserves the right to expel group leaders for gross misconduct or continuous misconduct
either within the school, while on school activities and excursions, or at their homestay.
The group leader will then leave LSI and accommodation as soon as possible and their care
and transfer home is the responsibility of the client company/organisation. The Principal /
School Directors decision is considered final.
22. Students under 18 years of age: LSI reserves the right to introduce and impose curfews on
students. In the event of a welfare issue relating to a student under 18 the judgement of the
schools Safeguarding team is final.
23. In the event of complaints which cannot be resolved between the customer and LSI, a
director of LSI UK will attempt to resolve the complaint. If this is not possible, you have the
right to appeal to English UK. Please see our complains policy at www.lsi.edu
24. All schools follow UK data protection legislation. Details on request.
25. All contracts and agreements with LSI schools will be governed by English law.
26. These terms and conditions may not be changed without the agreement of both parties

LSI reserves the right to refer debts older than 30 days to debt collection agents unless there is a
relevant agreement. Statutory interest and compensation fees may be charged at the rate
determined in the individual countrys interpretations of European directive 2000/35/EC.
