Innovate ABQ endeavors to create an integrated community where members can live, work, thrive, and play. So far, Innovate ABQ has supported numerous incubatees including those involved with educational programs, business services, research and commercial labs, and technology companies. These incubatees often share space with others in the incubator. This allows them to work together as they wish and be an essential part of a community that is connected to University of New Mexico and Albuquerque itself. This integrated community would include residential living space and amenities for the workers who benefit from the new jobs created by this synergy. Innovate ABQ’s new endeavor is to transform an existing building into the BioScience Center. The Center will occupy space on three levels and will use 27,0008 and will include 19 labs, 16 ‘open workstations, 9 cubicle offices, 20 private offices, a class room, numerous conference rooms, storage rooms, and collaboration space.
