2.1.1. Quick Security Setting supported
Quick Security Setting key is added to the Utility Menu.
2.1.2. Printer Centering Adjustment improved
On centering adjustment, the switches (Mis-centerDetect) in the adjustment screen enabled
turning ON/OFF the centering auto adjustment.
Note: ON/OFF setting is only effective in adjustment mode and has no effect in normal mode.
2.1.3. 3rd vendor optional device connection supported

2.1.5. Both Sides Adjustment screen improved
The two types of adjustment are added.
-Gap tab added and input differences.
-Scan Meas. tab added and made auto-adjustment using the scanner.

pages, book copy, and overlay)
2.1.17. List Print file stored on the USB memory during print
Procedure: Set the USB memory to the main bodys USB port and press the key in the following
order.

Print: In normal print, print job is stored in the box with the same login user name as the
confidential folder. When no box exists with the same user name in the confidential folder, a new
box with the same user name is created and print job is stored.
Screen transition after login: On login, if there is a box with the same user name in the
confidential folder, transfer to the confidential folder in Read tab, making the box selected. If
there is no box with the same user name, transfer to the top of Login tab.

Current movement: Control the release movement of the separation claw with PC drums run hour.
New movement: Control it for every print regardless of PC drums run hour. (Prevention of toner stain

2.2. Corrections of malfunctions.

2.2.1. With DIPSW49-3=1, the Status indicator light does not work when the waste toner box becomes
full.
2.2.2. In the job with Offset Setting function, the Offset may works after having done the Interrupt Job
or Cleaning Feed.
2.2.3. The Sample Print function may not work.
2.2.4. The setting value in [Adjustment] on the Machine screen fails to reflect the setting value after
turning On/Off the machine. (Only for Ver.25)
2.2.5. User name may become blank that displayed with the [Output History] of the [JOB LIST]
2.2.6. C-4850 may occurs when using Distribution Recovery with HDD store at the parallel tandem
system.
2.2.7. C-4709 occurs when recall the image combination by suspend mode, and confirmed print
image.
2.2.8. When set plural PI back covers, Z-fold is canceled with Z-fold mode after recovery form back
cover.
2.2.9. J-7218 may occurs when Z-Fold with a program-job by the 951 ZU system.
2.2.10. jam occur when opened LU upper door after empty the LU paper and paper feed tray switched
to other trays by ATS
2.2.11. Pop-up window is displayed when changed the screen of the operation panel with using EF-
102.
2.2.12. Some Paper Setting data (paper catalogue) in the tray setting screen becomes wrong, when
imported Paper Setting data with using the Web Utilities.

And controller FW (P1) requires Ver.G00-40 or the version which was based on it at same time.
When basic version (***-40) of controller program (P1) are different, C-C136 is displayed.

5.1. How to update the firmware.
You can install firmware to machine by USB-ISW.
Please refer to the service manual for the detailed procedure of the firmware installation.
