List of hospital furniture and equipment that may be made available under the CONTAINER PROJECT AGREEMENT
between Flinders Overseas Health Group (Fohg) and ROTARY DIK / Government of South Australia, 2017.

Equipment General Descriptions

The following are detailed general descriptions of the types of equipment they may become available. This is
designed to help inform the RVM sisters and hospital staff in Soe, get a better idea function and use of the items of
furniture and equipment they want to include in the WISH LIST of goods. This list must be submitted to DIK and the
Government for consideration by July 31 2107. The items that may be sent will be similar too but not exactly the
same as the descriptions and images given in this document.

As mentioned before all goods will be in good working condition with most likely to be less than 10 15 years old.

Equipment which requires special consideration with regard to electrical power requirements and other particular

Deskripsi Umum Peralatan

Berikut ini adalah deskripsi umum rinci tentang jenis peralatan yang tersedia. Ini dirancang untuk membantu menginformasikan kepada para
sister RVM dan staf rumah sakit di Soe, mendapatkan fungsi dan fungsi ide yang lebih baik dan penggunaan barang-barang dari perabot dan
perlengkapan yang ingin mereka sertakan dalam DAFTAR WISH barang. Daftar ini harus diserahkan ke DIK dan Pemerintah untuk
dipertimbangkan pada tanggal 31 Juli 2107. Item yang dapat dikirim akan serupa juga tapi tidak persis sama dengan deskripsi dan gambar yang
diberikan dalam dokumen ini.

Seperti yang telah disebutkan sebelumnya, semua barang akan berada dalam kondisi kerja baik yang paling mungkin berusia kurang dari 10 -
15 tahun.

Item # 001 Hospital beds /Tempat Tidur Rumah Sakit (RS)

Most beds will be larger than beds in Indonesia district hospitals, requiring large floor space and a minimum door
size of about 1.0 to1.2 m. All beds will be on a 4 wheel mobile base, with an over- head grab bar (trapeze) pole and
side rails, plus a hospital mattress It is expected all beds will require electrical power (230 V / 50 Hz) to operate the
back, leg and height adjustments. These adjustments use 3 electric (direct current -DC) actuator motors, which
drive a worm gear and screw extension arm, (actuator assemblies units) to raise and lower the 3 segmented base of
the bed mattress base.

Power to the 3 actuator assembly units is proved from a Power Supply unit, contained in a black box under the base
of the bed. 230V, 50 Hz alternating current (AC) electric power a wall plug power outlet, is converted to low voltage
DC current which drives the actuator motors. Power consumption is relative low, most beds only requiring up to
250 Watts of electrical power when the motors are operated. Some beds may incorporated rechargeable batteries
as a power back up system to allow the bed to be operated during a power blackout or when the bed is being
moved.
These batteries (9 or 12 V) at Lithium Ion or lead Acid batteries and have a life if about 3- 5 years or more
(depending on use) and cost about Rp 90,000 to Rp 2.6 juta

It is likely no beds with hand crank or other forms of manual adjustment will be available.
