3 RCC WORKS

Providing and laying in position reinforced cement concrete of nominal mix as specified in
IS : 456 : 2000 including screening, centering, shuttering, mixing cement concrete in mixer
with proper compaction, curing, vibrating, consolidating, finishing, providing recesses,
necessary grooves, chamfers, rounding of corners either architectural or functional shall be
left in concrete as required in detailed drawings, construction joints of required shape and
size, roughening to surfaces wherever required, preparation of surface for laying concrete,
fixing of inserts/ pipe sleeves in concrete (but excluding cost of reinforcement, which will be
measured and paid for separately). The rate shall include cost of materials, labour, loading
and unloading, hire of machinery, tools & plants, fuel charges, transportation, scaffolding
and all other incidental charges etc., with all leads and lifts, complete and as directed by the
Engineer-in-charge at all levels.

4 REINFORCEMENT STEEL WORKS

Supplying, straightening, cutting, bending, placing in postion reinforcement bars of all

materials, cost of binding wire, pvc cover blocks as specified, labour, loading and

6 PLASTERING WORKS

Preparing the surface, providing & applying plastering 6mm thick in CM 1:4 (1 cement: 4

surface etc. including hacking, scraping, cleaning the surface, rounding of corners wherever

plaster in single coat in CM 1:3 including waterproofing compound (150ml dosage in 50 kg
cement bag of BASF-Rheomac 707 or its equivalent) using fine sand to bathroom walls,

Preparing the surface, providing & applying sponge/rough finish water proof plaster 18mm
in two layers, 12mm thick base coat in CM 1:6 & 6mm thick finishing coat in CM 1:3, laid in
panels with jointless finish as per design to external walls including hacking to RCC
surfaces, 150 mm wide GI plaster mesh with nominal thickness of individual thread
0.35mm with a Zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm at the junctions of masonry & RCC work,
45mmx45mmx0.45mm GI corner beads with a Zinc coating of 120 gms/sqm for door
openings, openings up to lintel level, corner junctions of wall or other areas as specified,

7 PAINTING WORKS

Preparing the surface, providing and applying two(2) coats of Plastic premium Emulsion
paint of approved brand, quality, colour etc., as per IS5411: Part 1:1974 over one (1) coat of
cement based putty (Birla make) & two (2) coats of primer of Asian Paints as per
manufacturer's recommendation including the cost of necessary sand papering, scaffolding,

up with approved crack filler, binder, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned and wetted
before painting, cleaning and protecting till the handing over of site to the Employer with

7.1.1 For Internal Ceilings & Beam Surfaces sq. ft

Distemper paint of approved brand, quality, colour etc., as per IS 428:2000 over one (1) coat
of cement based putty (Birla make) & two (2) coats of primer of Asian paints as per
manufacturer's recommendation including the cost of necessary sand papering, scaffolding,

the tile joints with approved quality and colour pigmented, cement based tile joint filler
grouts (ROFF-tile mate cementitous joint filler or equivalent) to match the shade of tiles,

pigmented, cement based tile joint filler grouts (ROFF-tile mate cementitous joint filler or

Flush Doors/Windows

Supplying and fixing of Seasoned teak wood door frame of size 62.5 x 125 mm, fixed in
position with 3 Nos. of MS hold fast 200mm long x 40mm wide x 6mm thick on either side
of vertical member of frame, embedded in concrete of mix M15 grade, pockets for

frame facing masonry shall be coated with bitumen paint before fixing of frame, including
plaining charges, rebate making charges, grooves and design charges.

Providing and fixing of factory made 40mm thick marine ply, laminate finished flush door
shutters of approved make and design, shutters fixed to Dorma BB 4430 or equivalent
100x75x3mm (heavy duty) 3 nos of ball bearing hinges, class 8, in satin stainless steel finish
grade 304 to BS 7352, with necessary SSS screws including any additional lipping/cutting,
plaining, etc.

Providing and fixing of Iron Mongery of approved make and design with necessary screws
such as door closer, door handle, latch, tower bolt, indicator lock, non vision grills of
150mmx450mm at the bottom, etc. as per drawings and specifications complete. (Iron
Mongery to be approved by the Architect prior to installation)

The rate shall include cost of labour & material charges, plaining, lipping, tools & plants,
necessary scaffolding, loading and unloading charges, transportation and all other
incidental charges, etc., complete as per drawings and specifications, with leads and lifts
at all levels and as per the directions of the Engineer In charge.

10.1.1 Main Door - 3'6" x 7' sq. ft

11 WATER PROOFING WORKS


Providing Membrane type water proofing of Fosroc/ Roffe/ Zypex or approved equivalent
make for toilet floors, sides and below the raised floor level upto height of 300mm and
places wherever indicated by the project design consultants. The water proof membrane
shall be finished with minimum of 50mm thick PCC 1:2:4 protective Concrete finished

The application shall be as per manufacturer's manual. Note the vertical water proof
membrane coat will not be measured separately. The floor area will be considered for the
measurement.

Guarantee for waterproofing system should be for a period of 10 years from the date of
practical completion of the project. Guarantee bond shall be submitted by the Main
Contractor undertaking responsibility for free performance during the guarantee period.
Work shall be carried out as per the instructions of Engineer in charge. The work should be
carried out by an approved and registered specialist waterproofing agency only. Main
Contractor to furnish the name of the proposed specialist firm. Rate shall include for cost of
labour, materials, scaffolding, transportation, tools & plants, loading and unloading
charges, curing, equipments for erection, finishing, all other incidental charges, etc.
complete with lead & lifts at all levels and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Providing and laying broken brick bats of approved quality for sunken portions in 1:10

Providing & installing integral crystalline Dr. Fixit CP Admix waterproofing treatment
capable of reducing the water penetration by a minimum of 85% as per EN 12390.
11.3 Admixing the concrete with crystal forming admixture at a ratio of 0.8% by weight of

less than 200mm high, bond stones or through stones at 2m apart in each course or as per
14.5.1 the applicable Indian Standards including raking out joints to receive pointing, scaffolding, cu. ft
curing, with all leads and lifts, cost of labour, materials loading and unloading,
transportation and all other incidental charges, etc., complete as per drawings, specifications
and as directed by the Engineer- in-charge.

14.6 Structural Staircase

Supplying, fabricating, hoisting and erecting in position Mild steel structural steel works
such as insert plates, edge angles, gratings with square/rectangular bars, pipe rack,
columns, canopies, lattice girders, sag rods, supports for the utility piping's and electrical
supports of works at all elevations, levels and heights including providing and fixing bolts,
nuts, washers, angles channels joists of various sizes and other structural elements
confirming to latest IS Codes including cutting, welding, bending to shape bolting, cleaning

Applying two coats of red oxide primer of approved manufacturer and two coats of
