Spanish Writing and
Drawing Activity
 Teacher Tips
I like to use this activity when students come back
from a break (spring, winter or summer) in order to
generate thinking in Spanish and as a springboard
for conversation as they love to share about
themselves.

Choose a template and have students think of

words to describe or represent their vacation. You
can tell students to write adjectives to describe
their vacation or have them using a mixture of
words which could represent or symbolize their
vacation. (EX: perro if they received a new dog) I
like to have students use a variety.

After students list their word(s), have them draw a

picture to go along with one or more of the
words.
