What are hackathons? Why
should I care?
Hackathons are 24-hour tech conferences
(weekends) where coders and hardware hackers
work together on cool projects
Free Wi-Fi, food & drinks for 24 hrs!

reminders & dates
When will the club meet?
general meetings (mainly robotics) will
be held Tuesdays after school from 2:30
pm to 3:45 pm
coding meetings (mainly ACSL +
programming activities) will be held
Wednesdays during lunch
Club Finances
$20 dues required by all members to
help finance general membership
activities
Competitive VEX teams financed by
corporate sponsorships
Will look at other sales based fundraising
activities also
Important reminders
New members: Make sure to accept the
invitations to join Google Classroom
and the Remind Class
sign in at each meeting
fill out the 2017-2018 membership
survey that is sent to you (complete in
September 2017)
