Orders can be placed with our Customer Service Department at our headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, USA by mail, fax,
telephone, or e-mail. Customers can establish an open account with us (usually net 30), or we also accept MasterCard, Visa and
AmEx. *Credit references may be required in order to establish an open account*. [For orders over $20k, it may be acceptable to
pay by L/C... please ask for details].

Orders are shipped from our 26,000 sq ft facility on 6.5 acres in Cary's prestigious Weston Business Park, which is in the heart of the
world-renowned "Research Triangle Park" (RTP) region - - conveniently located near the Raleigh-Durham International airport. The
Research Triangle Park (RTP) is one of the largest and most prominent high tech R&D parks in the world. The park is home to over 190
companies including IBM, Glaxo, SAS, John Deere, Cisco, Red Hat, and of course UL. Tours are available if planned in advance.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We typically do not use distributors who carry stock; but we do have many corporations allowed to act as Agents in various locations
throughout the world. We prefer to deal direct, in order to keep prices as low as possible, in addition to ensuring superior customer
service and support levels. Orders for items in stock are normally shipped within 72 hours - but we do have "Rush Order" abilities (if the
order is placed by 1 p.m. Eastern Time - - ask your sales rep for details). Please note: We will prepare customs documentation for
international customers at no extra charge - - however, we will require additional time to prepare these documents (+1-2 weeks
depending on what is needed). International orders must be paid in advance. Our order minimum for International orders is $500.00.

Important Ordering information

Cancelations: We do not accept cancelations. Orders cannot be canceled once placed. Products cannot be returned, unless for
warranty reasons.

Deposits: Some of the equipment like the large test chambers we offer is made to order, and a deposit may be required. These lead
times can range anywhere from 6-14 weeks or more...depending on size of your order, and our order backlog. Made-to-order items
cannot be returned for reasons other than warranty concerns, and authorization must be in place prior to returning anything to ED&D.
Deposits may also be required for large, multiple item orders (even if payment is being made by L/C).

Restocking Charge: A restocking charge of up to 30% of the value of the returned goods will be assessed when they are taken back
for the convenience of the client. Prior authorization must be granted. This is only allowed in extreme circumstances!

Refused Shipments: When goods are returned to us because they were not accepted, the new invoice will include the cost of both
outbound shipments plus the inbound shipment.

Non-Website Items: Many products are available that do not appear on our website. We are constantly adding new products to our
line! In addition, we need to update our website, and we are currently in the process of doing so. If you do not see the product you are
interested in, please let us know. If the product is related to product safety, most likely we have built it or are familiar with it.

Prices: Prices are subject to adjustment at any time. Personal quotations are honored for 30 days, unless otherwise noted.

Lead Times: Lead times are estimates only. And, they are only accurate at the exact time they are provided = Lead times can change
without notice due to many factors, including: our order volumes, time lapsed since quote, staffing, weather, seasonal issues, etc.
Please let us know if you require a new estimate when placing your order.

Order Acknowledgements: We are unable to guarantee we can meet all of your requirements, including order acknowledgements.
For best results, please provide us with an email address where we can acknowledge receipt of your order.

Product Aesthetics: The appearance of products can change at any time. The functions of the item will not be affected, unless an
improvement is made.

International Customers:
ED&D welcomes international orders, we export every day, to all countries. However, we require full payment in advance of shipment
for all orders outside the U.S. and Canada.
Payment can be made by credit card (fastest method), wire transfer, or check drawn on a US bank.
Payments must be made in U.S. dollars only.
There is an added charge of $25.00 for wire transfers (to pay our bank fees), unless the product price is in excess of
$3,000.00. To avoid this charge, pay by a different method. You must still pay bank fees charged to you by the bank.

NOTE: Customers can provide a UPS, DHL or FedEx air shipper account number, thereby eliminating the need for shipping quotations.
However, we are prepared to make such quotations and add to the invoice; but if time is your most important issue, keep this in mind as
it takes time to get the shipping quotes for all requests.

Important: If you choose to utilize your own shipping company, you must make all the arrangements yourself. We are not prepared to
absorb the extra time it takes to set up with your special transport carrier; we hope you understand.

Special voltages or frequencies: In some cases, there may be an additional cost to provide electrical products with your special input
voltage and frequency needs. Please specify your power needs for us when ordering.

WIRE TRANSFER PAYMENTS: It can take a week or more for our bank to provide us with the notice of payment after a wire transfer is
made. The order only becomes valid once we are notified by our bank. (If you pay by electronic transfer, you will need to send us all
related documents for verification purposes).

Please do not make additional contacts to ED&D within this time, as it only serves to delay your order and others. The sooner you pay,
the sooner your goods are shipped. Use the lead times provided in order to know when to expect the goods.

Payment by Letter of Credit (L/C): ED&D accepts L/C's on a regular basis however the L/C must meet our specific terms and
conditions. Payment by L/C may also affect lead times, as well as prices. Please check with your sales rep for details.

PLEASE try to utilize one contact from your corporation for orders and/or requests instead of multiple employees asking for the same
information.

As mentioned, it can take approximately one week or more for our bank to acknowledge the transfer and credit our
