VI. Old Business.
a. Discussion on the governance models employed by community gardens, especially in terms of
(1) how effective our current model is, (2) whether it should be modified, and (3) what model
best suits our needs if changes are necessary. This will entail discussion about the different
models, clarification on their distinctions, advantages and disadvantages, and then address any
remaining questions. The board will return to this matter in October, after some contemplation, to
make a prepared decision and begin amending the Bylaws. The supplementary materials to

b. Discussion on logistics for annual caramel apple sale at the 2017 RV School Fair.
VII. New Business.
a. Consideration and approval for the Secretary to compose and submit thank you letters to Janet
Hedtcke and Julie Dawson for hosting the board at WMARS on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
b. Consideration and approval for Marvin Joles III, of Lone Rock, to film a short documentary.
c. Re-visitation of expansion plans, and possible consideration and approval of Resolution on
Agronomic Custodianship Request for Unused Portions of Parcel, and for its transmission to the
Village of Spring Green.
d. Consideration and approval to approach Madeline Ouimet, of Spring Green, and commission a
series of paintings from her of the community garden site, to be put on a silent auction midwinter
at The Peoples Community Bank of Spring Green. A gallery detailing Madelines work is as

VIII. Open Forum.
IX. Adjourn until the next scheduled meeting on Saturday, October 14, 2017, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the
library at Spring Green Community Church.
