provided regular status reports, governance to the fortnightly steering committee and provided input to the

Engaged as a Program Manager to manage work on the Visicase platform. Abhis primary role was to provide
Program & project management/assurance for projects undertaken between the State Government (DAGJ)
and the external vendor delivering Workflow Digital Application (Customer Relationship Management, Digital
Case Management System Management) capability on cloud based infrastructure.
Victim Services (Department providing support services, including counselling and financial assistance to
victims of crime) project had stalled and failed two times. The project was behaviourally sensitive, and
convoluted on many fronts. The sub-contractor had not followed a delivery-based process. The internal team
was stretched and performing BAU and project activities simultaneously. Abhi enforced the delivery process,
lifted engagement and communication across senior stakeholders. He established enhancement and defect
resolutions for applications and systems in production and reported on their effectiveness to the fortnightly
steering committee.
He further challenged the rigour and vendors understanding of the solution, requested more detailed
planning, design, testing and reporting.
During the implementation, the subcontractor requested voluntary administration and subsequently moved
in to insolvency. Abhi provided all assistance to the new sub-contractors team, to review the scope and
deliverables and to provide remediation actions to ensure the projects success on Microsoft Dynamics
(CRM).
Abhi was responsible for managing the upgrade of the digital mobility solution (Digital Customer Relationship
Management) from sword Ciboodle to digital Kana enterprise CRM interfacing with claim systems, like
HUON, Guidewire.
The project had slipped delivery date due to non-clarity of scope and lack of engagement of stakeholders.
The internal team was stretched, and not engaged effectively. Abhi defined the scope and baselined the
business requirements for the release. He requested more detailed design reviews, development and testing,
addressed stakeholders expectations, collaborated all teams, vendors and executed the project successfully
on time.
Abhi introduced agile practices with focus on progressive elaboration and continuous refinement of product
characteristics through planning & preparation, training and workshops, project chartering, release planning,
agile coaching and retrospectives.
He undertook responsibility and accountability for the integration of a secure customer self-service portal
(CRM) to guidewire, GO Claims (Home and motor). The interfaces were enabled to renew policies, personal
details amended, email management/workflow integrated across IPad, Android devices, tablets, IPhone and
smartphones.
In conjunction with the change manager and business, Abhi reviewed the strategy, sustainment plan resulting
in increased usage of internal self-service channels and in call volumes by 20%. In collaboration with
business reviewed the deployment strategy and all ancillary support materials for the successful rollout of a
new customer retention dashboard used daily by various channels in business.
2) Virtualisation and implementation of cloud services (Amazon Web Services) (Applications and
Infrastructure), Project Methodology: Hybrid (Agile, PMBOK)
Abhi managed the virtualisation of applications over Amazon web services cloud. His task was to ensure
virtual staging, integration and testing environments are operational for projects and that cloud computing
was configured to be used as software as a service (SAAS).
Abhi initiated the project, defining the scope of applications and other necessary peripherals to be virtualised.
He further liaised with the software development environment group and release management and helped
set up the operational usage of the environments to be used by the project team members.

Abhi was responsible for the eFinance -Common Reporting (Cognos/TM1 environment), BI, Big data
transformation (Hadoop) and service delivery platform program (comprising of 6 projects) delivering over $30
million of technology and business change projects from idea conception to implementation and benefits
realisation.
He initiated transformation of multiple enterprise delivery teams (Product Owners, Dev, UX, Testing, and
Architects) to follow agile delivery model using Scrum. Abhi oversaw scrum teams and ensured
optimisation of technical solutions by continuous iterative process to maximum efficiency across all the
work streams.
Abhi managed and directed a team of 15 resources. He was responsible for execution of software integration
and assisted with re-engineering of change processes and management requests. Abhi assisted senior
leaders and executives on practical actions to enable project success and helped them to fulfil the role of
change sponsor.
1. Qantas Email Filtration Application Policies- Senior Project Manager (Applications / Cloud
Implementation)
Abhi was engaged on emergency basics to remediate $5 million cut over of email content/policy management
system (CRM) to the web sense cloud.
Abhi chaired the team of vendors including IBM and Telstra and ensured the project cut over to web sense
content filtering within the agreed time scales before the expiry of licenses on existing systems.
Abhi demonstrated an exemplary display of managing vendors and performing effective stakeholder
management by keeping them informed at regular intervals. He kept a cautious eye on vendors detailed
schedule and mitigated impediments, risk to meet the delivery timeframes. The team size comprised of four
vendors Telstra, Web sense, IBM, TCS, Fujitsu and was implemented in 6 months timeframe.
Abhi lead the provisioning of virtual servers on the cluster farm. He managed the team to address the
challenges of inability of servers to perform incremental load distribution and server capacity utilisation across
the farm of virtual servers.
Abhi was engaged to remediate the troubled Mascot data centre server relocation project. The challenge
was to relocate them to the new data centre on the new technical landscape.
Abhi managed the external vendors Telstra, IBM, TCS and tracked the delivery schedule, highlighted risk
and mitigations to IBM and Qantas stakeholders. Abhi performed extensive stakeholder management,
steering committee updates third party vendor management, daily stand up meetings, project governance,
ongoing tracking against project plan and detailed defect management and reporting using leading issue
tracking tools.
Abhi initiated the project to perform detailed designs of the specific transition of midrange and storage project,
and planed for the implementation of these projects. He further liaised with the vendor, the IBM Global
Business Services (GBS) Migration Factory team to migrate applications running on legacy servers to new
pure flex architectural servers.
Abhi ran workshops, project planning sessions, estimating financials and stakeholder management. Slippage
of plans were managed by determining the impact on the project and taking corrective actions to ensure
delivery on time within cost and acceptable quality outcomes.
The project was politically sensitive and complex on many fronts as the project had not robustly followed
Telstras internal delivery process. The business stakeholders and SMEs were distributed all around
Australia.
The internal IT team was stretched, and the disparate offshore provider teams were not engaged and
managed effectively. Abhi enforced the Telstra internal process, lifted engagement and communication
across all the teams. He challenged the rigour and vendors understanding of the solution, requested more
detailed testing and implemented the project successfully on time
Abhi was engaged by Telstra to act as a management consultant to run a strategic billing project. He
constantly mentored the team on techniques used on agile projects and conducted appropriate governance
and stakeholder management workshops.
Abhi organized and facilitated sprint planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, release
planning and demos. He taught the team to create clear and concise epics/stories and modelled core agile
principles of collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility using Jira and Confluence.
Abhi was responsible for defining the road map for security applications to be deployed on self-service
terminals. He liaised with the specialist team offshore to understand the infrastructure requirements, scope,
resources, cost and licensing agreements and defined the roadmap for the application to be deployed.
In addition, Abhi developed business requirements for advertising campaigns on ATMS and self-service
devices, assisting the sales team in developing formal sales plans and proposals. The role also included
project planning, project budgeting and costing and stakeholder management.
Abhi was a project manager and led consultant and vendors to upgrade the Billing application/SOE at Integral
Energy. He demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all project stakeholders including reporting to
executive level in a multi-disciplinary environment and managing vendors and teams effectively.
Abhi further defined the scope, project management plan and project schedule to enable integration of
interdependent activities to be completed on time, within budget and to agreed quality objectives. In addition,
he also supervised and managed contractors, hardware suppliers and vendors to promote and provide
leadership, guidance and management in directing project activities.
Abhi was responsible for overall management and implementation of Oracle e-Business suite (e-Accounts
Receivable and Payable). He spearheaded the effort to discover the deficiencies in the system design,
presenting the findings and recommendations to key stakeholders for project approval. The role involved
project planning, assignment of resources, stakeholder management, contract management and billing.
Abhi was engaged in the migration of the existing environment setup to Vignette Content Management. He
took ownership of delivery-oriented leadership of the e-Commerce development effort, where responsibilities
covered front-end and middleware e-Commerce development. He worked closely with all aspects of the
business facilitating workshops to gather business requirements and formulating high-level system
specifications by drawing together needs across the business and IT.
Abhi was responsible for managing the replacement of existing legacy transactional system with a
consolidated relational core banking database for Australian National Credit Union. Leading the project from
design specification through to delivery, his responsibilities included to design the extraction of routines and
data from IBM mainframes in to a relational data base
